~ Selena's P.O.V ~

I walked slowly behind my mom as she entered yet another shop the sold wedding dresses. This has got to be the sixth one today. Each time she would gather at least four dresses in her hands, only the ones that caught her eye, and shoved me into a dressing room to try them on. She came with me to pick out a dress because she knows that if I go alone I'll probably end up walking down the aisle in a pair of sweats and a t-shirt.

Right now, that didn't seem like such a bad idea.

"Try these on." She said, handing me another two dresses.

I stared down at them before sighing and shuffling off into an empty dressing room. I wasn't in the mood to fight with her or kick up a fuss. I haven't slept well in days, not since I told Justin the truth. My phone has been lit up like a Christmas tree lately with phone calls and text messages from him. I deleted them all, I couldn't bring myself to read the messages or answer the calls.

He probably thinks that I'm from a family filled with psychos now.

I'm not.

It's just my parents that are the psychos, the rest of my family are completely fine, I doubt they even know about this wedding. Definitely not my grandma anyways, that's for sure. My mom would have to be completely bonkers if she told my grandma. My grandma would do everything in her power to stop it. She was in an arranged marriage too when she was younger, but she had no choice but to marry the guy. She had nobody to stand up for her. To fight for her. The marriage was hell for her, her husband was nothing but an arrogant, bear drinking, self loving prick as she describes him.

Then, she met my grandpa. Love at first sight I'm sure. My grandpa was the one who got her away from her husband. They ran away together, once they got up the guts to confess their love for each other.

They got their fairytale ending.

I shook my head and started to change into the first dress that my mom handed to me.

"Are you finished yet Selena?" My mom asked, knocking on the wooden door.

I rolled my eyes and cussed under my breath.

I swear, that woman...She has no patience whatsoever.

"Yeah mom." I replied as I adjusted the dress on my body.

I unlocked the door and took a step out. My mom was standing there, staring at me.

"Well...?" I prompted, awaiting her verdict, silently praying that this was good enough for her.

Soon enough, her lips that were coated in her signature bright red lipstick curved into a smile. She clasped her hands together and let out a happy smile.

"You look stunning Selena." She smiled.

I let out a sigh of relief at her comment.

Thank god.

I walked silently back to the car, lugging the bags filled with more wedding stuff with me. My mom was going on and on about the wedding boasting about how perfect it will be and how I should be grateful that I'm marrying such a nice boy.

I just nodded, not taking in a word.

In the end, that's only her opinion. Mine is completely different.

"Selena!"

I stopped dead in my tracks as someone yelled out my name. My mom stopped too, glancing quickly at me before we both turned around to see who had just called me. I could feel the color drain from my face as I watched Justin run towards me.

"God no.." I murmured quietly under my breath as he approached me and my mom.

I glanced at my mom who was looking him up and down, a disgusted expression on her face.

When Justin reached us, he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly and looked at my mom.

"Could you give us a minute?" He asked.

"Excuse-" My mom began but I stopped her.

"Mom.. Please." I murmured, "Go back to the car, I'll be there in a minute."

My mom glanced at me then looked back at Justin, scoffing in disgust before turning around and walking back to the car. I turned my attention back to Justin who was staring after my mom with a amused smirk on his face.

"What Justin?" I asked quietly.

He looked at me and the smirk fell from his face.

"Why haven't you been answering your phone?" He asked, shoving his hands into his pockets.

"And why? Listen to you tell me that my family are psychos?" I questioned, "I think I'll pass on that one mate."

He frowned slightly, "Why do you think that? You're family don't have anything to do with this."

I scoffed and shook my head, "My family have everything to do with this Justin! Why else do you think I'm getting married before I'm eighteen, huh? I don't have a choice; this is my parent's decision, not mine."

He stared at me in shock.

"You mean-"

"Yes, I'm in an arranged marriage." I nodded.

He chewed on his bottom lip for what seemed like forever before talking.

"I don't care." He said finally.

"Huh?"

"I don't care." He repeated, taking a step closer to me, "I want you Selena."

I scoffed quietly and looked at him, "For how long Justin? Hmm? A week? Two if I'm lucky?"

He frowned, looking a little hurt by my words.

"No." He mumbled, "Longer.. Way longer.."

I stared at him.

"Selena." He sighed, looking genuinely nervous, "I think I'm in love with you.."

"No." I said quickly, "You can't be."

"You think I want to be?" He shot back, "You think I want to think about a girl that's as stubborn and complicated as you every waking hour of my day? Huh? You think that no matter what you do I always think it's cute, no matter what it is, even if you're talking to yourself in the dark?"

I blushed at the last bit, thinking about that night in the park. He chuckled, obviously thinking about it too.

"You're something different Selena.. Honestly, you are." He told me sincerely.

"I'm sorry Justin but you don't deserve this." I replied, thinking about everything, "I can't drag you into my life. I'm getting married and there's nothing you can do about that.. I'm sorry."

"Nothing I can do?" He asked, "You obviously don't know me that well babes."

I raised an eyebrow at him.

"I always find a way of getting what I want.. And baby, I want you."

He ducked his head and kissed my cheek, winking at me before walking off.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?!" I yelled.

He glanced over at me, smirking.

"Just wait and see baby."
