The once ruined stone obelisk was now a glistening brand new silver one. The ancient markings inscribed on it began to glow a shade in between magenta and purple, slowly pulsing and emitting light. Denarra's eyes and body tattoos began to glow with the same hue as the Priestess, now focused on her Ritual of Summoning, chanted words in a language enduring of the test of time: the Language of the Hereafter. She circled the pyramid seven times while chanting as Marjolina,  Sukram, Catarina, Neon, and Silver watched her. Tied, gagged, and bound to the ground at their feet were Jamie, Jay, Philomella, Isabella, Clotho, and Noelle.

Marjolina closed her eyes, and began began to feel a wind blowing from the southwest. Dark clouds of purple materialized and swirled high above the sky on their heads.

"I sense the approach of our Goddess," Marjolina spoke to the other four, her eyes still closed. By now the obelisk was emitting a strange humming sound as the clouds overhead began to rumble.

Meanwhile, the six girls could only sigh, for it was no use to try escaping or talking. The silken gags worked like super glue around their mouths, keeping them sealed tight and shut. Nor the breeders were allowed any relief of laying their eggs but Jamie, the reason, I shall explain when we get there.

...

Meanwhile, the remaining, Marwillyse, Vincent, Cee, Ceejay, Ladrino, Makata, Norman, Elizabeth (with much grumbling), Laodhmair (so chill for a Pegasus centaur king), Zenthi, Ridan, and Avinna had finally landed in the Plato Navian Islands. They had seen darker clouds from afar, but when they got to the island, there was no trace of light left. It was as if night had hit the islands.

"Oh no!" Ceejay exclaimed, "A ritual has begun!"

"You can say that again, brother!" Cee replied, showing them his watch. It had been eight in the morning when they left the resort, but what seemed like ordinary time to them was not, yet they didn't feel it, except Cee.  The time now read 4.30 PM, and everyone gathered round to look at his watch, and then their phones and watches. In fact, the time telling devices also showed 4.30 PM.

Upon looking up from his watch, Makata asked Cee, "Wait! Time speeds up during a Ritual?"

"I guess so," Ceejay replied, "But it can also slow down, depending on the type of Ritual."

"But these dark clouds tell a different tale," Avinna noted.

"You know about this as well, honey?" Makata worriedly asked her.

"When I gave birth to Martha---" Avinna replied.

"Wait! Her name's Martha?!" Vincent exclaimed, but then he realized his words, and quietly apologized to Avinna, telling her to continue after that.

"Before I was interrupted," the half-breeder manananggal queen spoke, "I was saying that when I gave birth to Martha and turned unconscious, I had a Vision of both the Prime Mover and Ovira speaking to me."

"What did they say?" Marwyllise asked.

"They were also concerned with the ritual that's happening," Avinna replied, "What's more is that Ovira said something about her sister, the Daimon needing the blood of a virgin breeder close to a very powerful person to survive."

Marwyllise did some thinking in her head, and instantly, something clicked.

"Actually, Avinna, you're not wrong," the black widow drider replied, "The Daimon the Great Mother of All Breederkind was referring to is called The Seductress, an Exiled Daemon Hunter skilled in the art of sexual advances before killing her victims mercilessly. Her ultimate goal is to drain every man of all his seed to produce her children whom she considers her Master race."

"But what does this have to do with Vincent and Jamie?" Avinna asked her. Marwyllise turned to Vincent and asked him, "Vincent, did some guy enter Jamie already?"

"Not once in her life, she told me," Vincent replied.

"Then she would be the perfect candidate for the Seductress to possess and use her body," Marwyllise replied, "While his presidency still lasts, Vincent would still be considered 'powerful'."

"So how do we defeat her?" Elizabeth asked, adopting a ready stance as taught to her by a Nine Sticks, a equine centaur exclusive martial art, Master.

"You cannot defeat The Seductress physically for her body has been disintegrated by the Council along with the Broken Thread, another Exiled Daemon defeated years back by elven demideities," Marwyllise replied, "However, you can dispel her from Jamie's body."

"If you are able to beat up the possessed breeder so much that the body is uninhabitable, then The Seductress will leave," Marwyllise replied, "However the task is not easy, for she who is possessed by The Seductress will be granted godlike strength, speed, and agility, not to mention libido. That is enough to pin you down and other gross things not supposed to be done in public."

"Unfortunately, the breeders that have been possessed by the said, uh, spirit all die, succumbing to the wounds inflicted by those who try to save them," Cee replied, "according to eyewitness accounts."

"But is there a way to do that without killing her?" Vincent asked, tears forming in his eyes.

"We don't know," Avinna replied, "Maybe you can do it!"

"But I can't!" Vincent replied, "I'm not strong enough to fight a spirit!"

"But do you have the will?" Clotho asked.

Vincent grew quiet for a moment. Memories of him and Jamie flashed before his eyes; both happy and sad memories they were. He had begun to reflect on each of those memories, and it was then that he had begun to muster determination to save Jamie. It was the one thing his heart longed for the most, and it was screaming out to him. His mind echoed his heart, and finally, he had listened to the voice after a retrospective while.

With fresh courage and determination, Vincent turned around to them and said, "Maybe I do!"

Of course, everyone was delighted, but not for long. Cultist sorcerers had surrounded them, and they conjured up concussive spells that knocked all of them out. Even Vincent was affected by it.

Before his mind went blank, Vincent whispered, "Jamie... I am coming...."
