With the passing of extremely sped up time, Vincent slowly regained his consciousness. He looked at his surroundings: the grass under his body, the cultists looking down at him to his right, the glowing obelisk, Jamie and Denarra to his left, his gagged friends behind him, humming for help, and finally, Marjolina the black widow drider in front of him. She scuttled towards him and asked, "Like what you see?

"Not really. Absolutely terrifying, especially the dark sky," Vincent calmly replied, despite feeling extremely afeard inside. "And... The glowing, droning obelisk," he continued. He stood up from his spot and saw Jamie, her head transfixed at the glowing runes etched on the obelisk.

"Jamie!" Vincent called out, but the breeder did not listen, still looking up at the obelisk as if it was her favorite object to stare at when she just needed to space out. Thunder boomed from above, and purple lightning flickered in the skies above them. The black clouds began to swirl above them, leaving a pillar of air for the light to pass through. Denarra was chanting louder than before, the words becoming more arcane yet garbled, like some ancient language both Celestial and Daemon never knew.

"Look at your friends," Marjolina told the soon to be ex-President of Mandala. He looked at all of them, gagged, cocooned, hogtied, or bound in their own special way, trying to scream. Vincent murmured their names one by one, worried about their situation as well as his.

Marjolina and Catarina scuttled over to him while Silver the shapeshifter followed behind. "Do not lay a hand on my friends, and I will spare you," Vincent spoke in a stern voice, "Although, Justice will have to be served."

"Not in your terms, eventually," Catarina replied, giving him an evil smirk, "In fact, your term of presidency is already up."

"That does not bother me as much as you do," Vincent replied, "Although, I wish to know who won the election."

"None of our concern!" Silver shouted.

"Fine then," Vincent replied, "Have it your way."

"Indeed, we will!" Marjolina replied, scuttling from left to right and back in front of him. "In a few minutes time, the sun and moon will eclipse, and the stars around shall channel their energy through it and send it straight down through the obelisk to the altar below. All we need is a drop of blood from six of your friends --- which we did with those who stayed with Denarra, by the way --- and from you, descendant of those cursed Hunters, they who exiled and labelled pariahs the Broken Thread and the Seductress."

Vincent took a deep breath, and then replied, "Okay, whatever the crap my ancestors did, I'm sorry, Okay? We good now. Capiche?"

Marjolina replied aloud, "Hmm? Processing information. Reading mind of speaker. Should I forgive you? NOPE! Not a chance!!!!"

"Goddammit!" Vincent angrily replied.

"Whine all you want! I don't care," Marjolina replied. She turned around, showing her spider abdomen at him and scuttled towards her other friends Neon and Sukram. Catarina just lowered her upper human half, blew a flying kiss to Vincent, winked at him, and then scuttled away from him, following behind Marjolina.

The wind around them picked up speed, and the thunder grew increasingly louder. Above the obelisk, the sun and moon were nearing eclipse. The stars around them began to glow an indigo hue and a very loud droning sound akin to that of a mix of a low foghorn and some weird sound effect made by renowned composer Steve Jablonsky blared from an unknown source.

Marjolina grew excited as the sky thundered louder. "Finally," she exclaimed to her followers, "The glorious return of our Master has come!" Every cultist cheered loudly, raising their hands and chanting very ancient words along with Denarra, who was also raising her voice while chanting. Otherworldly drums began to beat, joining the rhythmic cacophony of the ritual.

"Oh no," Elizabeth and Laodhmair replied in unison, "It has begun!"

Indeed, the Pegasus centaurs were absolutely right. An indigo beam of light landed above the obelisk, and then reflected itself towards Jamie's chest. The breeder began screaming and howling in excruciating pain while Vincent loudly wailed in horror and remorse. The now ex-President ran towards his ex, but as the beam of light from the heavens towards her human chest disappeared, a loud explosion occurred, sending Vincent back by 10 feet.

An excited Marjolina approached the being. It looked like Jamie alright, from human head to insect limbs to termite-queen like butt; yet her features were not the same as they used to. It had indigo skin, glowing pink eyes, two pairs of bat-like wings, and from her very rear end, a very long, six-foot tail which ended in an arrow head.  Glowing pink runes were etched on her skin, while her breasts were a size larger. Her six insect legs now ended in webbed, clawed feet with three toes each, and her hands and very long fingernails glowed brightly.

In a siren's voice it said, "I am The Seductress, and the world's men shall fall at my feet." Instantly, every cultist present, Neon, Silver, Catarina, and Sukram bowed before the being.
