For this certain reason, Philomella is the star of this chapter, toned abs.
It was seven thirty in the morning, and every human, drider, pegasus centaur, and breeder were already in swimwear.
However, Philomella's swim shirt took on a different sort. It was purple and black, and resembled a regular swim shirt except her waist --- that part where her human and insect-queen halves meet, was exposed. Aside from the smoothly-curved figure, the six-pack made itself known on the young Natura breeder. Every girl and boy were amazed at the sight.
"I'd really like to ask, Philomella," Laodhmair asked, "How'd you get that core?"
"Jogging and flying 1000 miles back and forth, and frequent visits to the gym with my boyfriend," Philomella replied with a smile, "It also allows for thinner but stronger legs, faster flapping of wings, and smooth and strong involuntary muscles in and out of my insect-queen behind." Just to prove it, her insect abdomen pulsated and then an egg, and --- despite the gross procedure --- the egg went out smoothly and immediately hatched into a fully grown tree nymph, which flew away from the outrigger boat at a jaw-dropping 340 meters per second. "It also allows me to hold more eggs for longer periods of time," Philomella added.
"Well, that accounts for the well toned nine yards and three feet of insect-queen rear-end," Jamie remarked. Suddenly, Philomella appeared beside her, and with a smile, replied, "Also boosts libido, which yields more 'bed time' and consequently gives healthier babies. So says my OG."
"Now that's a lot of goals you breeders should set," Jay announced to everyone, "Anyways, let's board!"
Everyone headed to their assigned outrigger boats. After a few moments, they sailed away from port.
...
A few knots away stood Miniloc Island. Known for its two lagoons, a secret beach, and lots of coral reefs and fish species. The company that put up the resort in Lagen Island has also put up a resort in Miniloc as well, only except that the houses are not for breeders to fit in.
However, Cee and Jay instructed the drivers of the boats to veer away from the resort and move around the island until they found the entrance to the small lagoon, a small gap between two large rocks, and all the breeders, centaurs, and driders instantly got worried.
"I never knew the entrance would still be that small," Cee remarked, "even if 217 Rearrangements tried to make it bigger."
"Must be due to the high tide," Jay called out from the other boat.
"But it's the lowest of the low right now!" Cee called out in reply.
"Then it certainly must be odd. I suggest we let all the humans and driders go first while we think of what to do with the other races," Jay called out.
"Okay," Cee replied, and then turned to his group. "Vincent, Ceejay, Norman, Clotho, and Ridan, suit up while the guys prepare the kayaks."
As quick as the kayaks were being put in the water, the six put on their life jackets. Then, each took a paddle from the floor of the outrigger and headed towards the bow of the outrigger boat. A wooden ladder had been prepared for them to descend and sit on their kayaks.
When they were already in their kayaks, Cee paddled ahead of the group, describing to them and showing them the karst formations that hung above their heads.
...
Meanwhile, in the other boat, Jay was having a chatter with the centaur royals. Philomella took this time to stand up and head towards the stern of the boat. Her tree nymph wings folded up in the same way a moth would fold up its wings and began to glisten under the sun like fish scales --- actually the wing interiors had changed from fibrous material to waterproof scales to allow the Natura to swim. Not only that, the front part of her six legs and the feet began to change as well, developing webbed flippers akin to those of fish as she walked towards the very bow of the boat.
With her keen vision, Philomella began to survey the hole and performed multiple calculations in her head. She stayed quiet for a few moments.
Suddenly, she exclaimed, "Yes!" and everyone in the boat heard it. The first to run to her were Jay and Isabella, who asked, "Why?"
"I'm going for a swim," Philomella said as she removed her life jacket.
"Whoa there!" Jay said, raising her hands until they were shoulder level. "You can't just go and swim inside the hole. We don't want you to get stuck in there."
"Why don't you just get back here and wait for further directions?" her sister Isabella added, "Like all of us."
"Pfft. You two are no fun!" Philomella replied, and instantly dived into the water, zipping her way through a handful of kayakers until she reached the six.
...
" Let's see what's below, my sweet," Ridan said to Clotho as schools of fish swam below his boat.
"Do so, please, for a blind drideress," she replied.
"Alrighty!" Ridan replied, "There's some sturgeon, regal tang, salmon, sardine, parrotfish, angelfish, butterfly fish, jellyfish, giant wormfish --- wait, giant wormfish?!"
"Wait, what?!" Clotho exclaimed, "Nope, it's just Philomella swimming toward us."
"Wait, what?!" Cee exclaimed, as he saw her upper half and the upper part of her abdomen rise from the water. Sea water dripped from her hair and trickled down her slender yet fit core.
"Hey!" Philomella exclaimed, waving her hand.
"I thought you were on the boat!" Cee exclaimed.
"I'm just here to prove that I can fit through this hole," Philomella exclaimed, and then slowly swam towards the hole. Vincent, the two driders, Norman, and Ceejay quickly approached the Natura, and with some part of her above water, she smoothly swam through the hole into the other side.
Maybe 217 Rearrangements did something after all. Cee thought, then he said to the group, "Let's go before the tide hits high."
Immediately, the six quickly kayaked through the hole and found the Natura playing with the fishes. No trail of blood streamed from her.
...
When the six kayakers (and the Natura) were all inside, they instantly brought out all their cameras and waterproof phones and took pictures of the surrounding limestone formations above as well as the fish below.
Suddenly, right in the middle of picture taking, Philomella called everyone together. Her face changed from that of a happy breeder to that of a wondering philosopher. When Vincent and company looked at her, they knew something was up.
"Hey cuz!" Ceejay exclaimed, "Why so serious?"
"I just remembered now," Philomella replied, "My boyfriend, Adrian, will be staying at the very resort we are staying."
Immediately upon hearing those words, Cee and Ceejay immediately exclaimed, "Sh*t!"
"Why?" A worrisome Ridan asked the three of them.
"Adrian's twin brother married his long time fiancée a year ago" Cee replied, "and --- OH MY GOODNESS! TODAY'S THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY VACATION!"
"And to make matters worse, we're actually fully booked!" Ceejay replied, "How could we forget, brother?"
"Yeah," Cee exclaimed, "I'm not sure about management though."
"As President of Mandala --- while I still am, " Vincent replied, "I propose we discuss the matter over lunch. Yay or nay?"
"Yay," the other six replied in unison
"Then we cannot afford to lose more time!" Vincent replied, "We must go back."
"And just in time too!" Cee added, "I sense the tide getting higher!"
Immediately, and quickly, the six kayaked back to the hole and out into the waiting outrigger boats. Philomella swam in front of them, and as quick as she dove into the water, she jumped back onto the boat. The kayakers of different races also scrambled back onto the boat while carrying the kayaks and paddles.
At exactly thirty minutes to noon, they left the area and headed towards the resort on that island.
