A sad, sad day

We are gathered here today to honor the life of Ian Michael Fitzgerald. He was too young to be taken from us but god needed him, and he needed him now. He is no longer suffering although we still might be, just know that he would want you to get on with your life and know that he's smiling down at you every moment of everyday.

Keira's POV:

The ceremony lasted 2 hours and after we buried Ian, we released balloons with messages from our hearts and hoping that he would read them from heaven. Moms still in a coma and dad is in a dark place. I have to be strong for my family. But I can't take it anymore. With Ian's passing, mom in a coma, and dad in his own world, I have no one to lean on but My best friend, Kalin, who has been there with me this whole time. I don't know how, but I feel like she understands me on a different level, not one that someone else would understand. She lost her dad in a car accident about a year and a half ago, and her mother slipped into her little world, like dad, and she turned to alcohol.

Ezra's POV:

So my sons funeral was today. My wife's in a coma and they don't know if she'll wake up. And Keira, my sweet baby girl Keira has been there trying to help her and myself cope with our tragedies. I know she's trying to help me get out of this place but I feel myself slipping farther and farther away. But no. I need to escape this lonely place to be there for my baby girl. I need to do this. I need to.
