Shareen's POV

"CHUUUUUUUUUUCK! Get your butt down here we need to get to the studio!" I yelled.

I sighed. My boyfriend of five years, Chuck was one of the best things that could have happened to me, but I had to admit he was also the worlds biggest pain in the behind that could ever exist. Moments like this where I just couldn't hide my excitement, he decided he wanted to look presentable.

"My butt is coming!" He yelled from upstairs.

I chuckled and rolled my eyes at him. My manager Dave, called me this morning saying he had huge news for me and wanted me at the studio before noon. It was noon and here I was, standing in the hallway of Chuck's huge Los Angeles home instead of in the car, driving towards the studio with excitement.

Just when I was about to climb the stairs and pull that guy down by the roots of his hair, he came rushing downstairs and jumped in front of me, wrapping his arms around me and kissing my cheek. I felt the heat rush up to my face, my skin surely turning bright red.

"Sorry for taking so long, babe." He whispered in my ear. I shook my head.

"Nuh uh. You're not getting off that easily." I said, pushing away from him and heading towards the front door.

Chuck sighed. "C'mon, babe. Let's just go, I don't want you to be mad."

I stuck my tongue out at him and we went outside and into his car, driving towards the studio, basically my second home. I turned on the radio and The Phoenix by Fall Out Boy, one of our favorite songs was on. I turned up the volume as loud as it would go and we started singing along to Patrick Stump's perfect voice.

He was one of my favorite singers since always and I loved Fall Out Boy more than anything. Sometimes I considered asking them to do a song with me, but I never really thought that Pete or any of the guys would even know who I was, despite that I was one of the most famous punk-rock singers right now. I'm not bragging but, hey.

Heeeeeeey Youngblood!

Doesn't it feel, like our time is running out?

I'm gonna change you, like a remix

Then I'll raise you, like a Phoenix!

Chuck parked in our usual spot in front of the studio and turned the car off. I opened the door and jumped out, half running, half jumping to the door. I pushed it open and raced down the hall to booth three, my favorite booth for absolutely no reason.

Dave was sitting on a bench, phone in his hand texting away. Dave was a texter, one of those crazy texters that could text without looking at the screen. I stepped into the room and Dave looked up at me, his fingers tapping away at the screen like crazy.

"Shareen!" He said. "Glad you made it! Where's Chuck?" He asked.

"Left behind, as usual." Chuck said, walking ahead of me and sitting next to Dave.

I giggled. "Sorry, babe. I'm just excited!"

"And you have reason to be excited." Dave said, locking his phone.

"So what's the big news?" I asked, walking over to a comfy white chair in front of him.

"Well, you said you wanted to do some new collaborations for you're new album so, I was talking with a few people that wanted to do stuff with you and you'll never guess who was the first person to call me."

Knowing Dave, I could guess and my guess was some person I've never even heard of that doesn't really like my music as always. I love Dave but sometimes I just wonder why I got stuck with him.
