I was beyond thrilled when Levi said we would each get our own room. It's not that I don't love, Tesla but I really need my own space even when not in my house I just need a little corner to myself.

Levi knows this about me, even in middle school when we met and they somehow managed to drag me into their little triangle of friendship I was that awkward loner who spoke to no one and spent her lunches in any corner of the school alone with a PB&J sandwich in one hand and a pencil in the other.

That was simply who I was and still am in many ways.

I couldn't help but look at the man who had in every sense of the word stolen my best friend. The way he looked at her left little doubt that he really did in fact care for her the way he couldn't help but smile when she laughed or how his hand was glued onto her knee and I don't think she noticed that her hand continued to fall on his constantly as if just to touch him.

I wanted to laugh but didn't, instead, I only enjoyed my silent thoughts in knowing that my best friend would be well taken care of.

Levi was laughing about something with Tesla and Shannon and I had gotten up to get something to drink from the trolley bar which I believe should be mandatory in every room, in every house.

I was heading back with a bottle of something labeled 'Tranebær' with a picture of what I was hoping to be Cranberries on the label.

"You know that will taste far better with a little liquid courage." I looked to my right to find the man named, Shaw holding a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue in his hand.

I scuffed fighting the urge to roll my eyes as I turned to look at him, "Thanks but I'll have to pass. Courage has a tendency of getting me in trouble." I smiled giving him a playful wink before bringing the bottle to my lips and heading on back to my seat.

I couldn't help but notice the glance's this Shaw character kept making my way and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't flattered, the man was hot without a doubt but for some reason, he wasn't doing it for me. If anything he was almost too pretty for my liking.

Carson was also quite handsome and even if it weren't a factor that he is, in fact, my best friends fiance I still looked at him and felt nothing.

Shaking my head I couldn't help the yawn that escaped me as I placed my hand over my mouth as a second yawn hit me.

"Come. We'll show you guys to your rooms and let you get settled before dinner" Levi said.

I groaned inwardly. As hungry as I was, I was not looking forward to dinner with the royals. It just felt so weird knowing that this was, Levi's new life. She had dinner with royalty every night and would eventually be considered royalty herself... right?

I didn't ask myself the question I wanted to ask and simply nodded as Tesla grabbed me by the hand and lead me to the door.

"How do you have so much energy?" I groaned as I nearly missed grabbing my bag off the couch.

"Because unlike someone who spent most of the time on the plane making googly eyes with some stranger, I slept." I nearly froze in place my feet nearly giving out from under me as I stumbled forward.

"Oh?" I heard Levi's lingering voice before turning around and giving her a quick 'shush!'

"If you were sleeping then how do you claim having seen me make said 'googly' eyes" I glared giving her hand a painfully tight squeeze, causing her to finally let go of me.

"Ow!" She hissed, "Fine. I might not have seen you make any but I sure saw him. The guy was practically ogling at you when you got back from the bathroom."
