"What the-" where the only words to leave Gina's mouth the moment my bedroom doors swung open.
Perfectly centered on my love-seat sat a long-legged blonde with a very satisfying smirk on her face and of course surrounding her was a sea of plain white shopping bags scattered around her, no joke there were at least a dozen bags.
"Of course you'd make an entrance for yourself, what else would you be doing at a time like this?" teased Shaw as he made a much likely rhetorical question.
Shannon only gave us her best interpretation of an innocent smile before lighting shrugging and pushing herself forward in her seat.
"What can I say, a Lady always has to make an appearance. Whether it's for the eyes of hundreds or five, never sell yourself short."
"What are you a life coach?" I teased before plopping down beside her.
She grins giving me another eye roll before picking up the nearest white bag and tossing it over at Gina who majestically managed to loop the handle through the very expensive bottle of Pinot Grigio in her hand.
"Impressive." Grinned Shannon as she tossed another bag to Tesla who seemed to only stare at the bag in a panic as she found her hands busy with four wine glasses. Luckily for her Shaw's quick thinking saved her as he heroically caught the bag before it came anywhere near her.
"Seriously, sis?"
She only grinned at him before clasping her hands together, "Well, aren't you curious?"
She was actually beaming.
"Shannon, what did you do?" I asked as I glanced over at Gina and Tess just as Shaw was taking the glasses from her death grip and looping the bag handle through her hand instead.
He didn't seem all too phased by the sudden blush that flushed her pale cheeks as he flashed her that million dollar smile of his.
"Seriously, Shannon you didn't spend anything on us did you?" asked, Gina as she put her bottle between her lower thighs for 'safe' keeping as she fumbled through the bag all while locking eyes with the blonde beside me.
"If you must know, I did not. But even if I had you'd have very little say in the matter." She winked.
"In all seriousness, designers send me dresses constantly not to mention gift's here and there besides there are always those outfits you buy that later on you look at them and wonder, 'what was I thinking?'" she stated as she grabbed yet another bag and placed it on my lap.
"This one is for you. I know you don't need it but I thought it suited you best. I never used it... didn't have the assets for it" she teased sending me a devilish wink.
It took me a moment to realize what it was she was saying but when it finally dawned at me I couldn't control the sudden rush of heat that flooded my face.
Gina only laughed as she pulled out a beautiful sunshine yellow dress from her bag.
"Whoa" she breathed as she pulled up the knee length dress which looked beautiful against her skin. Being a redhead there were a few colors Gina constantly avoided, one of those being pink.
She didn't dislike pink but it simply didn't go too well with her undertone and hair so she stuck with the other side of the rainbow and yellow though it wasn't her favorite it had a way of making her shine oh so bright.
The dress was beautiful with lovely petal sleeves and a strapped bow waist line along with a very conservative Sabrina neckline.
I watched Gina reach for the bottle she had held using her lower body and lightly; almost absentminded place it on the small coffee table before her.
