(So, Malvo and Maxlar took Brittney. And Mr. I'm-not-attached Lucifer is hunting them down to get his Bean back. Because, ya know, he's not attached. Like totally NOT attached, people. So, yeah.... this will give you more insight into Maxlar, as a person (like personality traits and whatnot) and the sorts. So yeah, I hope you enjoy this 'beautiful' chapter and be sure to comment! Brittney sniffles and tugs against the chains slightly, watching Maxlar carefully. He glances over at the sound of the clacking together of the chains and grins.
"Well, hello. Are we done biting people?" Maxlar glances down at his hand, where Brittney had bitten him. She nods her head automatically in fear. Maxlar grins and calmly walks over.
"So, what shall I call you? I mean, the darkest has a cute nickname for you." Brittney shakes her head.
"No." She squeaks and Maxlar chuckles.
"You're cute, ya know that?" He chuckles again before walking out of the room. Brittney sighs and slumps against the pillar she was chained to. Swallowing hard and not knowing what else to do, she starts crying.
"Gabriel? Castiel? Can anyone hear me? I'm so scared..." She whispers, warm tears streaming down her face. Brittney tries to calm her breathing, trying to stop herself from getting a panic attack.
"Just breathe, Brittney. Breathe...." Brittney whispers, tears still falling.
"Lucifer...."
(MEANWHILE A VERY ANGRY SATAN)
"What the hell do you mean by you can't fucking find her?!" Lucifer practically screams and Gabe shrugs. Laughing bitterly, Lucifer straightens up... but not before flipping the table he was leaning against over angrily.
"I'm sorry, Luci, but we've looked." Gabe replies, the only one brave enough to face his brother in this newfound wrath of his. Lucifer scoffs and opens his mouth to say something, but pauses.
"Lucifer..." He hears faintly.
"Did you hear that?" Lucifer snaps and Gabe shakes his head.
"Lucifer please..." Lucifer cocks his head in confusion. He gasps and turns to Gabe.
"I'm so scared...." The faint whispered prayer echoes throughout Lucifer.
"I know where she is..." Lucifer whispers. Gabe stiffens and waits for his answer.
"Lucifer... it hurts... Lucifer... please.... Make him stop..." Lucifer scowls and growls slightly.
"EVERYONE IN HERE NOW!!!" He shouts, loud voice echoing throughout the motel. Slowly, everyone walks in cautiously.
"Lucifer.. what's wrong?" Gabe asks and Lucifer bites his lip, listening to a stream of whispered prayers.
"Lucifer!" Gabe snaps and Lucifer looks up at him.
"I know where she is. And getting her back, alone or not. Now, anyone complaining or going with?" Lucifer snaps and everyone agrees to go with him.
"All right, I'm leaving!" Lucifer shouts over the noise in the room. The group disappears as one. Almost as soon as they get to the tall, old building, Lucifer takes off at a brisk pace.
"I swear, Lucifer..." Gabe hisses, jogging to catch up to his older brother.
"You will get yourself killed barging in like this." Gabe hisses again and Lucifer ignores him.
"Lucifer!" Gabe whispers sharply as the building keeps getting closer.
"Let them at me. I'm pissed and want my Bean back." Lucifer says before literally kicking down the front doors. Several demons jump at the sound, but using both hands to snap, Lucifer quickly makes them explode.
And so the battle against the demons on Malvo's side begins. Lucifer's attitude towards them was similar to his temper tantrum from the Apocalypse, but way worse. Instead of remaining completely emotionless, his face was full of rage and hate.
"Malvo, I'm back!" Lucifer shouts, kicking down a door. Malvo calmly looks up from the table and smirks.
"Lucifer. Knew you would come."
"Where's your asshole brother?" Malvo flinches slightly.
"Who wants to know?" Lucifer scoffs and rolls his eyes, pissed enough already.
"Fine, don't tell me. I don't care. Just where the fuck is Bean?" Malvo winces again.
"Lucifer, language." He mutters.
"I said, where the fuck is Bean?!"
(MEANWHILE THE BEAN)
"Almost done, sweetie." Maxlar hisses and Brittney screams hoarsely through the gag. Maxlar rolls his eyes and finishes the spell. Brittney screams again, but this time forming one word. The only word necessary.
"LUCIFER!!!" Echoes throughout the entire hallway of rooms. Maxlar scowls and growls. Taking the knife in his hand, he shoves it into her thigh. She screams again before blacking out from pain.
"You're cute and all, but ya scream too much, dear." Maxlar mutters and glances around the room, eyebrows furrowed slightly.
The door slams open, catching Maxlar off guard and causing him to jump and fall.
"So, you're the grand brother of a demon? Afraid of a little door slamming?" Lucifer practically shouts, voice deeper with anger. His eyes flash red quickly as Maxlar stands back up.
"Lucifer the Devil. Pleased to know you found your way here without any trouble."
"Go shove the politeness up your ass."
"Ooh, angry much?" Maxlar smirks and shrugs. Lucifer rolls his eyes while bitterly chuckling.
"Seems you don't have a problem shoving things into people. I mean, that knife sticking out of Bean's thigh isn't helping your case."
"Aaw, you call her Bean. How adorable." Maxlar fake pouts and Lucifer growls slightly.
"You know, I know everything you did to her. Bean's kinda big on praying."
"To you? Wow, that's reaching, isn't it?" Maxlar starts to back away slowly. Lucifer scoffs and starts walking towards him.
"You can fuck off."
"Wish I could, but, I've stuff to do."
"Yeah? Does it include dying?" Lucifer asks, completely serious. Maxlar laughs and shakes his head.
"Like you can kill me. Or Mal."
"Mal?"
"Shut the fuck up you don't know anything." Lucifer stops walking suddenly. Maxlar takes this advantage and suddenly disappears. Lucifer growls loudly.
"Dammit!" He shouts and marches over to Brittney. She was still unconscious. Gabe and Sam suddenly barge into the room.
"Malvo's gone." Gabe pants and Lucifer nods, unsurprised.
"So is his brother." Lucifer mutters back and Gabe nods. Cas taps Gabe's shoulder and nods his head towards the hall.
"We should give him a minute. He's obviously unstable right now." Cas whispers and Gabe nods solemnly. Lucifer takes a deep breath as Gabe closes the doors quietly.
"Okay Bean, let's get the knife out." Lucifer whispers and starts pulling the knife out slowly. Once he gets it out, he immediately heals her. She opens her eyes slowly and looks over at Lucifer slightly.
"Lucifer..." She whispers hoarsely. He nods and picks her up.
"I got you Bean."
"Thank you." She whispers before leaning her head into his shoulder.
"I couldn't help coming. I think they're right."
"About what?"
"I'm attached to a girl named Bean."
