"This is a mistake, you guys." Gabriel hisses and Lucifer waves him off.
"Gabe, listen, the only way out of here is leaving this dimension and then right back."
"Yeah but, opening the portal to a random dimension could be catastrophic." Gabe snaps and Lucifer rolls his eyes.
"It'll be fine." Lucifer whispers before pulling out his black and red key. Gabe rolls his eyes and looks around at the empty hall. The two of them managed some form of a half assed escape attempt and landed themselves elsewhere in the building.
"Let's hope for the best." Lucifer mutters before opening the door and stepping through with Gabe behind him. As soon as the door closes, a horizontal column of fire blocks their path. Lucifer and Gabe both shout and the small key in Lucifer's hand falls to the dusty ground.
The two angels scramble backwards as two giant dragons run at each other, snarling. The larger dragon, a teal green one with an orange strike along both sides with sharp yellow, snake like eyes roars before tackling the smaller one. The smaller was a murky brown with nasty eyes to match.
"Shit, I dropped the key." Lucifer whispers and Gabe smacks his shoulder.
"Asshat, go and get it." He snaps and Lucifer takes one step forward before the dragons roar loudly at each other.
"You get it." Lucifer mutters and Gabe bitchfaces him.
"I'm not the one that dropped it!" He hisses back. Lucifer takes a deep breath before stepping closer to the key on the dirty ground. The smaller brown dragon suddenly whips its head towards Lucifer, yellow teeth bared with drool clinging to it. The teal dragon hisses and steps in front of Lucifer.
Lucifer snatches the key up before running back over to Gabriel. The brown dragon hisses one last time before hitting the teal one with its spiny tail. A shuddering roar pierces the sky as the teal dragon stumbles backwards. The brown one quickly rushes over to the archangels.
"OPEN THE DOOR, OPEN THE DOOR, OPEN THE DADDAMN DOOR!!!" Gabriel screeches. Lucifer and Gabe scream as the brown dragon knocks them over, standing over them. The teal dragon growls before grabbing the brown one by the neck. A flash of light and suddenly the two dragons are what appear to be human.
"Enough, Brevier!" The man that is now standing in the teal dragon's place shouts. The man resembling the brown dragon bares his teeth and growls slightly.
"Luce, door. Now." Gabe pants and Lucifer fumbles with the key.
"Next person with a key that comes in here will die, Devon. You know this." Says the other dragon in a thick, slow voice. Lucifer and Gabe freeze, looking at each other.
"Told you this was a stupid idea!" Gabe hisses and the two dragons look back at them. The brown one glares at them.
"Last time someone with a dimension traveling door caused problems in my little realm here. I ain't trusting another dimension traveling weirdo like that purple eyed maniac."
"Purple eyed maniac? That sounds like Maxlar." Gabe frowns and the brown dragon hisses.
"Don't say his name!" He snaps and the other one laughs, a deep rumbling sound.
"How is he?" Lucifer frowns.
"A pain in the ass." He cocks an eyebrow and the teal dragon nods, smiling fondly.
"Yeah, when is he not?" The brown dragon rolls his eyes, growling slightly.
"Let's just get this over with and kill you both now rather than later." The brown dragon snarls and the teal dragon glares at him.
"Shit. We'll just be going now." Lucifer nervously chuckles and the brown dragon smirks.
"We'll be seeing each other again sooner than you think, Lucifer." He nods at Lucifer before disappearing in a swirl of dust.
"He, um, how does he know my name?" Lucifer says and the teal dragon rolls his eyes.
"It's Brevier, who knows? Name's Devon, by the way." Lucifer nods before making the door appear.
"I hop we never meet again." Lucifer says and Devon shakes his head, snorting.
"Maxlar said the same thing. We'll be meeting again, trust me." Gabe shoves Lucifer through the door as they stumble into the bunker.
"That was messed up." Gabe mutters, sitting in a seat to process everything.
"I have a really bad feeling we did something bad." Lucifer whispers and Gabe nods.
"No shit."
"We should go save the others." Lucifer says while stretching. Gabe nods and the two of them disappear and reappear outside the building where everyone else was.
"Ready?" Gabe asks.
"S'long as I get my Bean back, I'll be ready."
(Short, weird, AWESOME!! I am so excited things are bout to go down and *dies* *sighs* I should stop saying dies................................................................................. What? There's no death, what're you talkin bout? *nervous laughter* Just.... you can guess all you want who might die but you most likely won't guess it. Unless you get lucky.
