Ali's pov

"Morning my princesses. We are going to the Zoo soon so you'll need to get up. Mommy will be in soon to check if you need help getting dressed" I turn on their bedroom light and walk out the room closing the door behind me

Emily is making sandwiches for the day and I get breakfast ready. Once Emily has finished with the lunches she goes to check the girls

"They are all dressed and ready to go. Apparently you told them to wear whatever they want" she says coming out of their room with a humoured look on her face

"What ?" I laugh

"Grace, Lily come and show mommy your gorgeous outfits"

Grace and Lily dance into the living room wearing clothes they picked out themselves. Grace is wearing a Snow White dress with bright green leggings, an inside-out purple jacket and Minnie Mouse socks. Lily is more casual with pink spotty underwear she put over denim pants, a dirty spaghetti stained baby blue t-shirt and a black bow knotted in her hair.

"So Alison, you ready to leave?" Emily asks nodding her head at the girls

I walk towards them and bend down so I can be at their height

"Grace, Lily. Darlings" I look at Em asking her to help me to tell the girls they need to change but she just stares back and in my head I can just hear her saying "you told them they could pick their outfit so you fix it". I look back at Lily and Grace, maybe I should just let them wear what they want

"Alison. Babe ?"

"Roar" Lily screams "I'm a lion"

"Yeah Emily I'm ready to go, but before we go we need to make a stop"

I have an idea to get the girls out their clothes into nicer ones whilst still having fun

Emily's pov

We hadn't driven long before Ali stopped. She went into Walmart and said she'd call me when we have to come in so the girls can get changed in the restroom. I hear my phone ring and it buzzes making my thigh vibrate, I pull it out my pocket, answer the phone and take Lily and Grace to the restroom. Alison is standing with two shopping bags

"Time to get changed girls" she hands me her purse, she gives me a devious smirk and takes Lily into the restroom cubicle to get changed

"Onesies" Ali jumps out of the cubicle

"Roar, I'm a Lion" Lily jumps out after her, in a cute lion onesie with a mane as a hood

"I'm a Lemur, Lily is a Lion, Grace is a Panda and they didn't have any left so you'll have to go just as you are ... a hippo" she teases

"Shut it blondey" I jokingly push her shoulder,
shoving her slightly backwards. She laughs before handing me a bag containing a giraffe onesie

It is time to go to the Zoo and have an awesome girls day out

Ali's pov

After seeing all the animals and watching the penguins for 45 minutes the girls ask to play in the park, me and Em sit on a picnic bench and eat the sandwiches Emily made this morning while Grace and Lily play. There is a loud thud and then a little boy begins to cry; he fell off the climbing area, as our attention turns to him we hear Lily and Grace scream

"Gracie" Lily shouts out to her sister

"Lil" Grace screams back

They both shriek "mommies" but they are no where to be seen

"Emily. Where are they ?!" My voice quivers as I begin to panic

"I don't know" I can see Emily's eyes widen and she looks as terrified as I am

We search the Zoo for hours looking for them, along with the help of our friends, family and the police.

"They couldn't have just disappeared, someone took them" Emily screams at a police officer, I grab her hand before she have time to give the guy a left hook

"Come on Emily, let's go look near the penguins again"

"We've looked near the penguins a thousand times they aren't there" she says sobbing

"Em, Ali. You need to not give up hope. We will find them"

"Hope breeds eternal misery. Isn't that what you always say?" I snap in floods of tears

"Yes. I do normally say that, but you aren't me. You never give up hope so don't now just because you are scared. If you remain hopeful that we will get them back. We will get the back" Spencer says

Ali's pov

The Zoo was closed for investigation and we were forcefully sent home. Hanna, Aria and Spencer came to our house and left the boys to look after their kids. We sat in silence beside occasional sniffles or sobbing, left with only our thoughts until our phones pinged

We all look up from our phones as if we have just seen a ghost. There is silence until our phones ping again

'Now you see them ... now you don't. Who's next ?

"Guys it's happening again" Aria says her eyes darting up and down from her phone

"And this time they are after our kids"

Hanna, Aria and Spencer call home to tell their husbands to make sure the kids are safe

"What do we do ?" Hanna asks

"We play the game" I say willing to do anything to get my girls back
