A rat in the basement

Ali's pov

We are woken up early in the morning by Mona who is excited to show us around Paris, she has decided it would be good for us to go out for a girls day while the boys go boozing. Mona takes us sightseeing and we manage to see everything in the one day

"What the hell are we going to do here for another twelve days ? Can we just pretend one of the girls are sick and we need to go home ?"

"I have no clue and no Alison we can't"

We all go back to Mona's creepy shop for her to finish a few jobs before we meet the boys again.

"I'm going out to get some change. There is a pub just around the corner. Stay here and don't touch anything. I don't want you hurting my dolls" Mona says walking out the shop

As Mona shuts the front door of the shop we hear a loud thud coming from the shops basement

"Oh my god what the hell was that ?" Aria turns around to look at the door

"It's a rat" Hanna screams

"A rat can't make that amount of noise"

Hanna gasps "it's an army of rats coming to take over the shop"

"We'll wait till the boys get here and send them down"

"Or one of us could go, because Mona will be back before then" Aria suggests

They all vote for me to go because apparently being buried alive means I am not scared of anything. I grab the handle and slowly push it down, the door is locked. Spencer picks the lock and I am thrown down the stairs to check where the noise was from. At the bottom of the stairs there is another door with a passcode on it, what's a Mona password I think to myself, the day I disappeared and bingo the door flys open.

Emily's pov

I hear Alison screaming "Emily ! Emily !"

I race down the stairs to rescue my wife from the rat army but instead I find her staring through a glass window at another room. In the room sits Alex and Mary Drake. Aria, Hanna and Spencer follow me down the stairs and they gasp at the sight of Mary and Alex. We all stand in shock looking at the two women sat around a coffee table in old fashioned dresses

"Mom ?" Spencer shouts through the glass she has her hand placed upon

Mary stands up and places her hand on top of Spencer's. Alex rolls her eyes and then makes her way to the window.

"What do we do ?" Ali asks

"That's a very good question" Spencer replies, stepping away from the window

We hear footsteps coming down the stairs, we turn our heads to see who is coming. To our terror it is Mona.

"What the fuck Mona?"

"Hanna I can explain"

"Save it Mona you never change do you ? Always playing the game" sneers Spencer

"Aria watch out for the button" Mona screams as Aria sits on her desk leaning her hand on a small blue button

"Why thank you Aria. You were always my favourite" Alex says pushing the door Aria has just accidentally opened

Alex jumps forward and wraps her hands around Spencer's neck

"Goodbye sis" she whispers

Mona pushes Alex off Spencer and we all jump into action, fighting Alex, we weren't going to let Mona do this herself. Mona grabs Alex's diamond necklace and rips it off her, she stand still begging Mona to return it

"Nice diamond. Maybe I could give it to Lily and Grace as a birthday present"

Why would she give it to them ? I wonder holding Alison in my arms

"I mean it is their daddy's diamond. oh wait actually it is their daddy"

Mona throws the necklace to the floor and stands on it, snapping the chain.

"Diamonds last forever, just like my love for Wren"

Alex tries to attack Mona and I instinctively grab a chair and hit her over the head with it, she collapses and smashes her face off the ground as she lies bleeding we all exchange many worried and confused looks. Mona picks her up and places her back into the room

"Thank you" Mona says breaking the silence

"Anything for a friend" Alison say, letting go of me and hugging Mona

When we arrive home we all agree that Mona is "queen"- as Hanna stated - at torturing people and we give Alex a second chance, just as we did for Charlotte. We put her into a mental institution, the institution allows her to live freely in her own home whilst being held in a gated community and having nurses visit her everyday. Spencer puts herself as Alex's emergency contact in case of an emergency but knowing Mona, Alex will probably be back in her basement in a week.
