Emily's pov
"Mommy I'm gay" my 5 year old daughter shouts
"You are ?"
"Yep. I'm gay, gay, gay"
"What makes you think you are gay ?"
"Because you and mommy are gay, and you are happy. I want to be smiley like you and mommy" she says playing with my hair
I wipe a tear of joy off my cheek. I am happy. I am extremely happy.
"Emily have you seen Mr Teddy ?" My wife asks
"No. Grace have you seen Mr Teddy ?"
"Nope" she giggles
"Grace. Where is he ?" Alison asks
She climbs out of her bed that I had just tucked her into and runs to the kitchen. Grace opens the dishwasher and pulls out Mr Teddy
"Grace why did you put Mr Teddy in the dishwasher ?" I ask her
"Lily was sick on him. So I wanted to clean him for her"
Alison looks over to me and smiles. I pick up Grace and carry her back to the bedroom
"Remember to be quite because your sister is sleeping" I whisper as I look over at our ill little girl
I send Grace back to bed and quietly close their bedroom door
"I put Mr Teddy in the washing machine" Ali says handing me a glass of wine along with a kiss on the cheek
"How are our daughters so perfect when they have us as parents" I laugh
"I ask myself that everyday"
"Let's hope Lily feels better tomorrow. We have a big week ahead"
"Yeah let's hope so Em"
Ali's pov
"Morning beautiful" Emily says as I rub my eyes
"Are the girls awake ?"
"Not yet"
"I'll go wake them. We need to leave soon, or we'll miss our flight"
"Alison wait I'll help you" she shouts following me
We wake them up. Lily's cold is better she just has a stuffy nose but she'll be fine for the flight.

"Fancy seeing you here" I hear a recognisable voice shout
"Aunt Hanna" Grace screams running over to her.
Hanna picks Grace up and gives her a big hug, while Caleb kneels down to hug Lily. Emily's leg is captured by Carson's small arms, as I give Spencer a small hug before awkwardly receiving a hug from Toby.
"Anyone heard from Aria and Ezra ?" Caleb asks
"Yeah they have just left. They said they will be here soon" Em replies
After a few drinks at a bar Aria, Ezra and Leo appear
"Are you guys ready for a holiday together ?" Ezra asks
"Well it's not really a holiday, it's ...."
"More like a business trip" Hanna continues
We all share a confused look
"A business trip?" Em asks
"Yeah. Kinda. Aria and Ezra are going to adopt another baby. Then we are all going a two week holiday. Then we are going back for the wedding"
"Adopting a baby isn't business. It's taking care of a child who isn't biological yours but they are now your child no matter what biology say. C'est une chose incroyable"
"In English please Spence"
"It's an incredible thing. I'm sure Alison, Aria and Ezra would agree"
"I may have given birth to them but I wasn't biologically their mother. I agree with Spencer, adoption is amazing"
"And what do you know about adoption Spencer?" Hanna laughs
"Well I was adopted. So..."
"You were? When?"
"Hanna seriously?" I ask
"What?"
"Mary Drake" Emily says
"Oh shit, I forgot about her" Hanna yells as her face turns slightly pink
"Mommy said a bad word" Carson gasps, pointing to Hanna
Emily's pov
After a long flight we land in LA; we have rented a 4 bedroom house up in the hills over looking the whole of LA. Alison, me and the girls have the master suit with two king sized beds in the room, a walk in closet and an ensuit. The house is massive and it looks gorgeous with a big pool which Aria is freaking out about because she's worried that Leo might fall in the pool; he is only two and has not yet learned how to swim yet.
"Welcome to your home for the next two weeks" Caleb whispers to his sleeping son who's cradled in his arms
"What time is it?" Toby asks
"Back home it's three am, here it's twelve am" Spencer tells her lover who's in mid-yawn as she speaks to him
"Well then Happy Birthday sleepy boy" I say to Carson; who is now 4 years old
We all go up to our rooms. Ali puts the girls to bed while I take a shower. I climb into bed with my beautiful wife, who is staring lovingly at our two perfect girls who are snuggling together; taking up only a small portion of their bed.
Ali's pov
Picking up my phone I realise it's only 5:17am, I look over at Lily and Grace who are sound asleep. Lily is hanging off the end of the bed and Grace is wrapped up in all the covers at the top.
"Emily? Are you asleep?"
She turns around to face me, staring into her eyes I can hear her soft voice calling my name
"Ali? Are you asleep?"
I lay in my bed, my eyes wide open as I decided whether to pretend I was sleeping. I turned around so I could see her face, we stared into each other eyes for a few seconds before Emily leaned in to kiss me. I kept my arms under the covers -taken back by what was happening- as Emily kissed. Emily placed her hand on my face to strengthen the kiss and the next thing I knew...I was kissing her back. I pulled my arms out and placed them on Emily's face, pushing my lips harder and harder against hers until she fell backwards into the mattress, as I lay on top of her I knew she was the love of my life. That was the first time we ever slept together and it helped me prove to myself that I was in love with Emily; if only I had the guts to admit it.
"Em?"
"Alison, what's up?" She asks
"I love you"
"I love you too"
