Movie night

Emily's pov
"Movie night! Movie night! Movie night!" Lily chants with excitement

"What do you want to drink princess?"

"Toilet water" Grace giggles

"Ewww. Snow drinks toilet water, not you" Lily cutely laughs

"Okay so Grace wants toilet water. What about you Lily?"

"I don't actually want toilet water Mom"

"I have to take your first answer. You said toilet water" Alison says, impersonating a game show host

"Mom" Grace says in a whiny laugh

Alison rolls her eyes and smiles at Grace

"Do you both want coca-cola, for a treat. Since it's movie night?"

"Yes" Grace immediately responds

"This is the movie we are going to watch"

"The Adventure of Shark-boy and Lava-girl. What's that?" Grace asks, passing me a bowl of popcorn

"I used to love it when I was younger. There is this girl called Marissa Electricidad; she's an ice-princess. At the time I thought I just liked her frozen hat thing but now that I think about it she was really cute. She had this cute nose and gorgeous blonde hair, and her voice was so mesmerising. When ever she spoke I would melt like butter. Yeah, I definitely fancied her" I laugh, fangirling about my childhood crush

Grace blankly blinks at me, bewildered by what I was just prattling on about.

"It's a good movie" I re-answer her question

"Aww okay" Grace smiles, shovelling popcorn into the hand

"What were you saying Em?" Ali asks me, carrying over 4 cans of coca-cola

"Just that I used to fancy Marissa"

"Who?"

"The ice-princess"

"Aww her. I thought I was the first girl you fancied?" Ali asks with a petted lip

"I thought you were too but this movie just reminded me that I used to fancy her" I laugh before pressing play on the very old movie

"It's weird to think that we were just older than them when this first cane out" Alison laughs, handing Lily and Grace a can of pop

"Is this in black and white then?" Lily asks

Ali laughs causing her to choke on her coca-cola

"How old do you think we are?"

"Twenty" Lily laughs

"Twenty?! I'm only nineteen" I laugh, rolling my eyes at the fact that my daughter thinks 20 is old

Ali's pov

"Here she comes, my babe" Emily laughs, anticipating the ice-princess' arrival

"Mom is that you?" Grace gasps as Marissa introduces herself

"Oh my god. That'll explain why I loved you and Marissa. You look the same. Is she the same girl from G.B.F?" Emily grabs, hold of her phone and races onto google
