A Reason to Live (Jensen Ackles)

Chapter 30

I woke up when I heard the door open and close. I kept my eyes closed, not ready to get up. 

"Bella?" 

It was Jared. 

What was he doing here? 

His voice wasn't very close so he was still near the door. I groaned to let him know where I was. I wasn't quite ready to talk yet. 

I heard him walk closer to the bed and then laugh. 

"Hey, Bella. Jensen sent me to check on you and take you to lunch." 

I finally opened my eyes to see Jared leaning against the door frame to the bedroom. It wasn't completely closed off from the rest of the trailer, but it provided a little bit of separation. 

He was looking at me with a smile on his face, but in his eyes there was concern. I could see that he was worried about me, but I knew that he wasn't going to ask. I had to figure out a way to tell him I was okay without just saying it. 

I got out of the bed, straightening my clothes and fixing my hair. I sighed in relief and stretched. 

"I feel so much better." 

Okay, that will have to do. 

Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw Jared looked relieved. 

"Ready?" 

"Yep, let's go." 

I followed Jared to the room where everyone had lunch. We both filled our plates with food and sat down.

We talked about what I thought so far and I told him that I was really enjoying it. 

Misha sat with us a couple minutes later and just listened to what I was saying. We got off of that topic and onto other things. I was really enjoying talking to them. They asked me a lot of questions about myself and I did the same in return. It was interesting getting to learn about them. 

I was just telling them about how I usually did in school when Jensen slid into the seat next to me with a plate of food. I stopped talking when I saw the looks he was giving me. 

I looked towards him and gave him my own look. He was silently asking me if I was alright. I gave him another look and nodded. He gave me a suspicious look, trying to tell if I was telling the truth. In return, I gave him an annoyed look and nodded again. He nodded as well and I turned back to Jared and Misha. 

I was going to continue where I left off, but they both had shocked faces and their eyes kept moving between Jensen and I. 

Suddenly they both burst into laughter, attracting the attention of everyone else in the room. Jared only stopped laughing long enough to tell us what was so funny. 

"Wow, so that's what it feels like when people have a silent conversation." 

He continued laughing and I joined them. There laughing was so contagious. 

Of course, me laughing, made Jensen start laughing. So, all four of us were sitting there laughing like hyenas. 

Everyone else in the room was just staring at us like we were crazy. 

Our laughter came to an end when Jared was called to go film a scene. 

The rest of us finished up our lunches and continued to talk until the rest of them were called. 

I followed them back to the set, a little hesitant because of earlier. But, everyone had woken up by now and they were all their normal selves. 

The rest of the night went without a hitch.

 Filming was done quickly and everyone got to go home early. 

I went to my room and watched videos of Jensen, Jared, and Misha at conventions. 

I still wanted some alone time. 

When I became drowsy, I changed into my pajamas. I debated on going to say goodnight to Jensen, but I did. I came back to my room and laid down, falling asleep almost immediately.
