It's late afternoon as you are walking home from work. It is way past your clock out time, but you needed to get extra work done so that you could have a week to yourself. You've been planning this for about a month now. You decided you needed a break from all the boring crap you do as a job, and take this week to work on your hopefully-to-be new career: Youtube.
You made your channel a while ago, with some videos here and there and you have a decent amount of subscribers, but it's not where you want to be. You've always had that secret desire to entertain for large audiences. Doing different forms of entertainment like acting, reacting, and storytelling, but there was never a time you could do that as a career. Until you started watching youtube.
At first it didn't even cross your mind to make it a career. You just wanted a cool hobby. But as your subscribers grew, you found that people actually like your videos, and you'd like to continue making them.
The sun has long time surpassed its peak and is now slowly lowering down to the horizon, just barely lighting your street. There aren't a whole lot of people out, some here and there walking from apartment to apartment, but no one that you know. You're almost glad because you don't feel like talking to people. You have work to do.
As you approach your apartment, you walk up the stairs and pull out your keys from your purse. After unlocking the door you step into your cool, dimly lit living room. Your front window is open at the top so what remains of the sunlight shines through, just lighting your way through the apartment.
It's nothing big. It has a living room and kitchen on the first floor, a master bedroom, bathroom, office, and guest bedroom (which is completely empty of any firniture) on the second.
Immediately you take off your shoes and head upstairs to your room and fall flat on your face onto your soft comforter. You let out a little sigh and flip over, thinking about what to do first. Make a video? Or watch more youtube?
It's a little late to be making a video, especially if it requires you screaming at a computer screen, so you decide against that. You'll do it tomorrow.
You pull out your phone from your back pocket and turn on the screen, blinding you for a second. You flip through Instagram and twitter real quick to find some really sweet messages from fans, saying that you've inspired them, or encouraging you to make more videos soon. They make you smile.
After checking some more notifications, you see that there are a few new uploads on YouTube. Some of them being from Jacksepticeye, you're inspiration for youtube.
So right away you grab your laptop charging beside your bed, get comfortable under the sheets, and pull up his latest video.
Today he was playing a new horror game. Something about walking around trying to escape a mental asylum without coming face to face with any of the other patients. If he does then some of their insanity will be passed onto him like a virus, as his vision slowly misdirects him away from the exit, until all he sees us hallucinations that make it impossible to win the game.
It sounds cheesy, but Jack makes the best if it. He is running and dodging all through the seemingly endless hallways. Mental patients are popping out of corners, causing Jack to yell. And eventually some of them grab a hold of him. He fights them off but you can tell he doesn't remember where the exit is, and every turn he makes leads him to a different department that where he was before. But he doesn't give up just yet.
You find yourself giggling at him. How can you not at his random outbursts like, "Mother of balls!" as he gets jump scared. Or "YE MOTHER FOOKER!" when a mental patient grabs hold of him.
Finally, after what seems like eighty tries, he makes it to a door. It opens upon approach and it immediately takes Jack to a cut scene.
