Hello guys!! Chapter 3 is served. Hope you enjoy! :)

He watched intently as she walked in the park with the little girl. She was beautiful with her long wavy hair flowing in the wind and her blue summer dress.

He had seen her come here almost every day, sometimes with the girl and sometimes alone, sitting and reading a book or writing in a black notebook. Maybe she's a writer, he thought to himself, oh how I want to go and talk to her.

But you're such a coward, sneered his inner voice. Someday, he resolved, someday I will go and talk to her.

Matthew shook his head mentally and got back to his sketches while glancing at her from time to time.

He had taken the habit of drawing in the park a few months ago when he first moved to town. The fresh air of the park after a long day at work always made him relax. It reminded him of his small town. It had trees everywhere. So many open spaces that parks were not needed; there were benches here and there in the open.

Coming to New York has been a dream come true to him. He dreamed to absorb the artistic atmosphere of this town. His parents had always encouraged him to go for what he wanted and that's exactly what he did when he opened his art gallery across from Central Park.

However, he did not expect the hard work that came with it, but with the help of Josh, his newfound friend and assistant, he can now breathe a little more. Painting being his passion, Mathew had thought that painting in a place that reminded him of home will do him some good and thus, the reason why he finds himself here right now. Looking at his current interest. Current being quite weak since he has been infatuated with this dark-haired beauty for a few months now. Three to be exact and he still finds her more intriguing each time.

The first time that Matthew noticed her, he had felt the world stop turning for a moment. Normally, nothing can distract him when he paints. But on that fateful day, it was different. He had glanced up to look at the tree that he was painting when he saw her.

She had seemed to have come out of a painting only for his eyes to admire. And admire did he! His eyes couldn't tear themselves away from her smiling face as she bent down to take the flower that the little girl was offering her. Maybe it's her daughter, he had thought at that time looking at a smaller version of her but slightly chubbier.

For the first time in his life, he wished that he was the type of man that could just go up to a woman and flirt without hesitation. She had looked breathtaking in a white dress with red flowers printed on it and hair flowing freely. He was mesmerized.

He picked up his easel and other equipment before making his way home. When he bought the gallery, the first floor was empty. So he transformed the two floors by making the ground floor the gallery and added a staircase that led to the first floor and converted it into an apartment for him. Since there were two spare rooms, he turned one into his office while the other room was used as a guest room that Josh often squatted.
