Chapter 3

So, we are now sitting on Jennifer's bed, and she is just awkwardly staring at me."Why did you lock the door?" I ask not knowing what she's up to. "Should I be concerned?" Asking nervously, but she's just staring at me, then she starts moving towards me in some cat movement, almost like she wants to seduce me or something.

"Jen, what the fudge do you think you're doing?" I ask ,this time I'm serious but get a devilish look back as an answer.

She jumps on top of me and straddles her legs over my stomach and leans forward while I'm just laying on my back and thinking if she has a thing for girls or something because if someone steps into this room, Jennifer and I would be in a pretty weird position, just imagine.

"Moooo!" I think she's imitating a cow, but isn't she supposed to purr  because she pretty much is moving in a cat-ish movement.

Then she leans in much closer, this time I can smell her berry blossomed shampoo in her hair the same kind we always used when we were little. To destroy the awkwardness I pull her into a hug. So we are basically laying on top of each other, one straddled over the other and we are hugging ,way to go Ava way to go...

"Someone take a picture?" I say sarcastically, but she hugs me back and simply whispers in my ear,"I've missed you so much mi amigo."

The last two words sounded like some sort of Spanish because I've heard my mom use it a lot.

"I've missed you more." I whisper back. "But, I've missed you most." She says, pshh she won the words, darn it. She gets off of me and I sit up straight with my legs crossed, and she opens the packet of gummy bears. "So, do you have a boyfriend or nah?" I knew this question was coming and I suddenly hear Cate and my mother laughing out loud, I could imagine Austin's face when Cate squishes his face and says 'You have grown up so fast!' Yep she's probably doing it right now, but my thoughts are interrupted by Jennifer's groan .

"Are you gonna answer the question or are you just gonna sit there and stare at one place?" She asks.

"No, I what, wait huh? Oh yeah, I don't have a boyfriend! " I stutter looking like an idiot "Yet..." I say offering her a smug face, then our conversation is interrupted by a loud knock on the door.

I wonder who it might be because both my brothers are next door with my mom and Cate, I can still hear them laughing. "Fuuuck ,why can't we just get some privacy, I mean we have so much to catch up on, I hope it's not Emily. " She says while walking to the door. "Who is Emily?"

I hope she's not my replacement. "Oh, she's this other....."

Do you guys know that look your best friend gives you when someone hot walks into the room, well she gave me that look, and as I looked at the door I see my idiot brother Austin. Urgghh why is my life soo weird? "Are you kidding me Austin?" I say Looking at him so annoyed, but he decides to barge into the room like he owns it.

"She didn't even say come in." I point out to Jennifer hoping that she says something like 'Get out of my room' or something, but who am I kidding she can also not resist the handsome, sexy beast that is standing in front of her.

"First of all little sis, I came here because I saw you enter this strangers house and so I was scared that you'll get hurt or something, secondly I wanted to escape from those crazy women in the house and last but not least your new hot friend here let me in with her eyes and I can tell that she wants me to enter places where I shouldn't be in." He says bragging and the first part was a huge lie, because Austin would not care but the third part was just the typical Austin, he's hitting on my effing best friend .

"Just go before I rip your eyeballs out!" I shout angrily."Whatever , I know you won't do it ,besides I don't want to be listening to you ladies talking about Harry Styles and Ryan Gosling the whole time, so bye." And he winks at Jen on his way out. "Please take the bags outside!" I yelled after him. It's now I notice how beautiful Jennifer's room actually is."That was,was,was your brother?" She says struggling to pronounce the word 'was', wow what a coincidence.

"Unfortunately he is my brother, can you believe that he's only one year older than us?" As disappointed as I am, I still can't believe that he's 16 and acting like he's 20 or something. "He's pretty hot, not that I like him or anything, he's not my type, he's just hot." Jennifer says while locking the door... And I guess I'm going to be here for the rest of the day speaking to Jen.

We start a conversation about potato salad, I know, pretty weird huh? So we go on talking about who knows what. And yes we were talking about Harry. In how he should have killed the beast while he had the chance.

Yep we were talking about Harry Potter and not Mr. Styles...
Besides we were listening to One Direction.

"Imagine if you marry Pepe the frog?" I tell her, she doesn't reply. "Why don't you go marry the famous soccer star Garreth Bale?"

"Who the hell is that?" Please, I know like 3 soccer players. Christiano Ronaldo , Jesse Lingard who is bae and now also Garreth Bale.Genius right?

"I'm gonna pretend like I didn't hear that." Jen says while she pulls an awkward face. I look at my phone for time and it's almost midnight. Holy crap time goes by fast.

"Since when are you interested in football?" I ask her. "Ever since my ex wanted us to play Xbox and the only two player game was FIFA 18, yeah that's about it."

"Okay, if you say so."

"Which school are you going to?" She asks but my eyes are begging to shut down."Uhm I don't know, but I'd love to go to the same school as you." I reply, smiling almost. She squeals and I almost fall of her bed.

"Omg, like yes Ava, like the school you're like looking for is Ivory Coast High!" She says in a *Valley girl Accent* .

We both laugh the Carbon Dioxide out of each other, then after 5 minuets of laughing a question pops in my head. "Wait, is Ivory Coast High not that school where you wear uniform and like all the children there get straight A's ?"

"What the heck, why would I even go to that school anyway? I don't get straight A's all the time!" Jen says yawning almost. Now this was a night.

"Gee I was just asking. Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pile of water, man I need a boyfriend." I whispered and my vision went black....
