Chapter 13

❇ Ava Johnson ❇

Jennifer had already left for school because she had to pick Cheyenne up as well, the reason why I couldn't go with her was because I overslept. I know, genius.

I was downstairs eating some cereal when someone finally decided to come down. This guy is going to get us expelled, we are about seven minuets late for school and he's the one that wasted our time while he was doing his hair.

Sometimes I just don't get it when guys say that girls spend too much time working on their hair, while they take twice as much time to perfect theirs. Such hypocrites.

"Let's go." He commanded grabbing his bag from the island. I quickly threw my cereal bowl into the sink and followed him, locking the door behind me. "We're a little late." He mumbled monotonously.

No shit Sherlock!

We drove out of the driveway up until we came to a stop. Austin's phone started ringing. Sexy bro was the person's name *iPhone ringtone*. Aww snap, someone is bromancing! Okay no I'm joking, Austin can't be gay because if he was gay he wouldn't be sleeping and cheating on female people. Right?

He first looked at me and quickly answered the phone call, putting it on loud speaker."Talk to me bro!"

"Andrew stop dude!" Someone shouted from the other side of the phone.

I know this voice, one of Austin's best friends. Kevin Rodriguez, it's good to know that he cares about Austin though. Bromance atmosphere in here.

"Dude, where are you? The whole school is at the football field for some kind of announcement the principal is delivering to the school, and I've heard that it was pretty important. So get your smelly flat bro ass here!" Kevin told.

"We're on our way, just make some kind of excuse. See yeh now now bro." Austin said driving right away.

What is he doing! I fastened my seatbelt and sat deep into the seat, I will be dead by the end of the car ride. "Austin slow down!" I squealed at the maniac that doesn't know the meaning of slow down. "If I do, we're going to miss the prank." He yelled at me speeding faster than before, he didn't even stop at the stop sign!

"What prank! Stop this car, I'll walk to school. Stop the damn car you maniac!" I yelled even louder. The car came to a stop, thank the heavens, then he looked at me impatiently waiting for me to get out. I got out took my bag with. "Say hello to Satan when you die!" I shouted and slammed the door shut with all the power I had.

And he sped off.

"Asshole!" I shouted to no one. He knows how I react when I'm in fast cars, I can't believe that he would really be this careless. I walked sadly.

Cars passing by, I hate me life. A tear threatened to spill, but I held it in. Because Big Girls Don't Cry. Austin left me right here on the streets to walk to school on my own? Son of a panda.

I was almost there, and by almost. I mean almost not even halfway there. "What's an ugly face like yours walking all alone?" A guy said from beside me. I rolled my eyes and scoffed. Could this day get any worse?

Then it started raining...

Joking, hahahaha that only happens in movies.

"I'm sorry, please get in. I'll drive nicely-" Then I cut him off "You didn't even say please!" Not even waiting for an answer, I jumped into the car. The biggest mistake of my life.

The car zoomed on the road, faster than the speed limit should be. "For fuck sake Austin!" I shouted, with my eyes shut. No way, never. "Relax I got this, we're almost there." He said calmly like it's one of his hobbies. A tear slipped down my cheek, I can't do it. It's too many memories.
