"We want you to come to the UK with us." Zayn said.
My mouth dropped. The UK? That was a whole nother country! Another continent! Another time zone! I looked over at Lia to see the same expression on her face; shock.
"Uh," Lia said. "What?"
"We want you to come on tour with us to the UK." Harry told her. She smiled.
"Yeah!" she yelled. "Of course we'll come!" I cleared my throat. Lia looked at me. "What?" she said. "We're definitely going, right?"
"Well, I'm going." I said standing up next to her. "But you're still a minor. You need your parent's permission to go." She froze, her thinking face on.
"Damn." she muttered. She only swore when she meant it, ever since she started up a bad habit of cussing at twelve years old. "When are you guys leaving?"
"This weekend." Liam answered.
"Double damn." Lia sat back down, staring at the ground. "I got it!" She hopped up after a couple of moments, her finger in the air. "We'll tell my parents that Claire and I decided to take a little Summer trip to Maine for a while. No boys. But really we'll be off in England, sipping tea and chilling with One Direction."
"Sounds good." I said. "But how are we going to pay for the trip? I just got fired from my job at McDonalds and no one needs babysitters during the Summer." I motioned to Lia when I said the babysitting part. She slumped her shoulders.
"We'll pay for you." Harry said.
"Really?" Lia asked him.
"Of course." Niall said to me. I smiled.
"Then I guess we're going to England!" I said. Lia 'Woo'ed in response. The guys joined in. We hung out and relaxed for a couple more hours. Not as many people were sending Lia hate on Twitter, but there were a few groups on Facebook called 'I hate Lia' or 'Harry's mine, Lia!'. She simply shrugged when she saw those, but I could tell they hurt her a little.
"Why don't you post something telling them to cut it out?" I asked her. She shook her head.
"Don't feed the flame." she said. "Just let it die out."
"You're such a poet." I replied. She stuck her tongue out at me.
"Should we watch a film?" Harry suggested.
"Not a horror movie." Lia immediately said. I nodded in agreement. "Ooh! How about The Karate Kid? The one with Ralph Macchio? I love the older version."
"We don't have that." Liam said.
"How about Love Actually?" Harry suggested. Lia and I shrugged.
Harry ended up crying a little at the wedding scene, which made Lia giggle. Then she hugged him. It was really cute. I was going to have to talk to Louis about getting them together when she turned eighteen. She wouldn't date him unless she wasn't a minor anymore. After the movie was over we decided to talk about the trip that weekend. We started talking about who was going to sit next to who. We decided that since the plane had four seats in a row, we'd have two rows: In the first row there'd be Louis, then next to him would be Harry, then Lia, and Zayn. In the second row it'd be Niall and Liam, with me in the middle. The last seat would either be empty or some random person would sit there. Eventually, we began to play another one of Lia's games. She called it Lines From A Movie. Apparently she had made it up a long time ago at a bonfire. She explained the rules, which were pretty simple. You could either recite or act out a line or part from a movie. No other rules. She gave an example from Harry Potter, which I immediately got. We had always been huge Harry Potter fans. We continued to play that game for a while. There was some confusion when the guys would use stuff from British movies that we had never seen before. We simply laughed.
"Oh, Niall." I said when we were lounging about watching TV. "When are we going on our date?" I could see out of the corner of my eye, Lia grow a giant smile on her face. I looked over at her and we shared a grin.
"How about now?" Niall said. I shrugged, but was blushing and fangirling on the inside.
"Sure." I said. We got up and left the apartment. He held my hand as we walked down the streets. "So how are you?"
"Great," he answered. "Now that I'm with you." I smiled and blushed.
"You're so sweet, Niall." I said. "How is it that a simple fan like me could end up on a date with Niall Horan?"
He laughed. "Fate?" he suggested. I nodded.
"That sounds good to me." I said, laughing. He smiled. "So where are we going?"
"We're going to walk to the Red Robin down there." He pointed down the road with the hand he was holding mine in. He paused. "What did you think when I asked you out?"
I thought a little. "Something along the lines of 'Eeeep!'." We laughed. We continued walking for a little while. When we got to the resturant we were immediately put at a table in the far back, away from the most people. We looked over the menu while talking a little. We were mostly talking about our interests and stuff. I ordered a plain cheese burger and fries, while Niall ordered a double bacon cheese burger-thing. It was huge! He managed to eat it all, though, and I only got through half of mine. For dessert we both ordered hot fudge sundaes. I got the sticky fudge on my face, which Niall pointed out. He laughed and wiped my face with a napkin. I eventually just took the napkin from him and wiped my own face, laughing the entire time. Overall, it was the best date of my life.
