The Day You Both Left (A Colby Brock and Sam Golbach Fanfic)

Chapter #1

POV:Maddy

Sam and Colby had left around a month ago to the day. Kait and I have kept in contact with them but we have purposely avoided telling them that we are moving to LA. The only problem with that is we don't exactly know where they live. We really do want to see them again but we want it to be a surprise. Damn I miss my best friends.

We're already packed and ready to make the 3 day drive from Kansas to LA in my car. Flying is overrated. Honestly I'm scared of what might come. At least I have Kait to survive it with me. It's taken all we have not to shoot the boys a simple text like 'Hey whats the address to go to if we were to come to LA?' We want it to come naturally ya know?

As I get ready to go pick Kait up from her house I throw on one of Colby's hoodies he left behind and a pair of black sweats along with my plain white converse. I put my long blonde hair in a pony and ran out the door to my car. I drove to Kait's house and ran strait in, not bothering with knocking.

"Get down here and get in my damn car!" I yelled up the stairs to her room. She threw her back pack at my face in response. "Fine be that way. I guess I'll just go see the guys alone!" she then responded to that by literally jumping down half the stairs into my arms.

"I didn't mean it. And also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" she yelled, still in my arms

"WOO HOO!" I yelled right back. She jumped out of my arms

"By the way, how the heck did you catch me so perfectly?"

"Did you forget that I was a varsity cheerleader?"

"Oh. Uh kinda." We both busted out laughing. We grabbed her bags and stuffed them in my car. I got in the drivers seat knowing Kait won't drive first.

"Are you ready to start this new chapter of our lives?" I ask turning the key in the ignition.

"I'm not sure yet."

"Me either."
