Chapter #12

POV Kait:

  "But I fucking love you! Why do you think I don't? Is it the date? Its to keep my mind off of you. I thought you didn't love me." Sam yelled. I looked into his eyes again. They were filled with anger,sadness and hurt. I could only imagine what mine looked like, "I do love you, I have loved you since freshman year but I was to afraid to tell you because I didn't want to ruin our friendship if you rejected me" I told him.

  I looked down with tears slowly starting to clear up, "Guys you need to makeup or make out I should say so Maddy and I will go back to mine and Colby's apartment" Colby said. I shot him glare at what he said and he had a big smile on his face, "Colby, shut the fuck up" I told him. He just bursted into laughter and I rolled my eyes playfully. "Colby is right though but you and I will have a talk when we get back" Maddy said.

  I looked at her and smiled. She smiled back at me and we pulled in for a hug, "Remember fehler(bug), I'll always be here to talk". I pulled away still smiling. I nodded my head and then turned to Sam, "Well we better talk" He suggested. Maddy and Colby left the apartment and I led Sam to my bedroom.

  I turned on the light and and led Sam to to me bed and we sat down, "Okay first, I want you to promise me you will never cut again? Please promise me" Sam pleaded. I looked at him and nodded my head 'yes'. "Okay I'm glad, now then there is another thing I wanted to ask you?" Sam got up and stood right in front of me.

  "Kait, will you be my girlfriend?" Sam asked looking down at me. I was in pure shock, 'Did he just? Yes! Yes he just did!'. I quickly got up and kissed him. We pulled apart after a couple seconds and looked into each others eyes, his were filled with love. "I'll take that as a yes" Sam laughed. I giggled like a little girl and hugged him, "I love you Sam Golbach" I said.

   "I love you too Kait". I pulled apart from the hug and kissed him again but this time it lasted longer. We then pulled apart and looked back into each others eyes. My phone then went off, I grabbed it from my pocket and seen it was from Maddy.

M😝: Hey how is it going over there?

Me: I'm not single anymore so thats a plus!

M😝: Omg we will soo have to go a double dates!

Me: Hell ya!

M😝: I'll be home in a hour, don't do anything crazy I really don't feel like walking into that

Me: Oh shut up

Me: Love ya too M🐇

I turned my phone off to see Sam laying on my bed. "What are you doing?" I asked giggling. "What? I'm tired so I'm sleeping in my girlfriend's bed" He replied. I laughed and climbed into bed with him. Put my head on his chest and closed my eyes, bump bump bump, I loved the rhythm of his heart beat. It was so soothing, it made me feel safe.

"Kait?" Sam asked.

"Yeah?"

"You know how in freshman when we almost kissed?"

"Yeah? Why?" I asked

"Well that one kid the knocked into you I asked him to do that" He told me

"Is that why turned around so perfectly?" I asked.

"Yeah"

I began to laugh and so did Sam. "You are such an idiot you know that?" I asked laughing. "I'm pretty sure that was established when I met you". I giggled and looked up at Sam. He looked down at me, " I love your eyes" I told Sam. "I love your smile" He complimented me back. "Are we seriously going to have a compliment war?" I asked.

"If you want to lose then ya" Sam said. I sat up and looked him in the eye with a smile. "You are so on Golbach" I said. He sat up also, "So you going first?" He asked. "If you want me to get a head start so I can win yeah" I said. "Remember what happens when you get cocky?" Sam asked. "Do you" I threw back at him. "Okay thats it it starts in three two one go!" Sam yelled.
