Chapter #28

Maddy's POV;

    I was gonna murder Sam. He hurt Fehler...again! "M..? Can you make me a promise?" Kait sniffles. "Of course" I answer. "Can you not tell anyone in the house about this? Even Colby?" She mumbles. "Of course Fehler! But Sam is never gonna hear the end of this! I'll make him-" --- "No! Maddy he can not know I know about this. Not yet at least..." Kait cut me off.

   "Kait! He fucking cheated on you! you can't let this just slide!" I exclaim throwing my hands in the air while pacing around.

      Kait stayed sitting on my bed and let out a long sigh, "I know I know. But I have a plan, and...I need you to not yell at Sam. Not right now that is..." . "Well you keep talking about a plan...what is that plan?" I ask cocking my eyebrow. "Well we are gonna find out where that girl lives and get her on our side and then...the major prank" Kait smiles devilishly.

  "Felher...you are insane. One minute you are crying your eyes out and the next devising an evil plan" I laugh. Kait smiles and nods with agreement, "Well can you blame me?". "Not at all" I smile back. "Anyways wanna get some food? Even though it's six at night" I ask holding out a hand for Kait to grab.

   She gracefully puts her hand in mine and we lead each other to the kitchen, where Devyn and Corey were cooking. "Hey guys. Whatcha makin'?" I asked.  "Oh we're just making Tacos. Nothing to fancy" Corey answered. Kait whispers in my ear, "I'm gonna tell Devyn real quick. Cuz' I trust her too". I look at her and nod.

  "Devyn, I need to tell you something...do mind if we talk in private?" Kait asks in the most respectful manner ever. "Sure! Be right back babe" Devyn said to Corey, kissing his cheek. They went to another room and it was just Corey and I.

  "So how's being pregnant going?" Corey asked out the blue. It out me into a giggle fit, "Fine Corey...how's you and Devyn been?" I ask. "Good" He replied nodding his head.

    "What?! I'm gonna murder him!!!". Suddenly I hear Devyn yell from the other room. Soon after they come back into the kitchen. "You alright baby?" Corey asks chuckling. "Fine. Just gotta help these two help a soon to be dead body" Devyn smiles. She went back to cooking. Corey looks at Kait, then me, then back at Kait.

    "It's a girl thing" Kait replies with a nervous chuckle. Corey looked at her suspicious but then just shook his head and turned to Devyn to help her. I looked at Kait and she looks back at me.

     *smol time skip*

    After eating some Tacos, Kait and I went into her, and he who shall not be named, room. We talked about the big prank and how we are gonna find out where this girl lives and who she is. "So I was thinking--". Before Kait could finish her phone dings. "Sam?" I ask instantly. She looks at her phone carefully and nods. "He really needs to make up lies better" She says before handing me her phone.

    I grab it and look at the message,

Sam💔👿😠- Hey baby sorry I'm running late I ran into Brennan and we talked for a while then after I left the store there was an accident so there was some traffic...so I'll be home soon.

Sent at 8:07 p. m

    "God damn....He really is a terrible liar" I chuckle. "Honestly though" Kait agrees. "So how have the baby appointments going?" Kait asks. "Good, the doctor says we'll be able to tell the baby's gender in about two months so that's exciting" I smile.

"Well I'm very happy for you despite the circumstances I'm in right now" Kait looks away. "Hey, it'll be all good" I tell her. She just nods. I can tell she only half believes that statement. "Babe?! I'm home!" I hear a familiar voice yell. Sam. The sound of his voice and me want to rip his throat out.

    Kait looks at me with fear in her eyes, "Please M! Please don't say or do anything". I sigh, "Fine, only because it's your choice". "Thank you" She smiles weakly. "Babe?" I heard Sam at the door. "Yeah, I'm in here" Kait answers.

  "Alright, I brought you food" He says. 'Like that'll help her' I snap in my mind. "Already ate but thanks" She replies simply. I heard his footsteps move away from the door. "I'm gonna murder him" I mutter. "I know...But you can't. Not yet" She sighs. "I'm gonna go back to my room" Kait says getting. "Alright just know if you need anything...." I say. "Mhm".

Well this chapter was....interesting.
