The Day You Both Left (A Colby Brock and Sam Golbach Fanfic)

Chapter #2

POV Kait: As Maddy drove the car I was getting more and more excited to see the boys. Even though we wouldn't see them until 3 days I was still excited that we are going to see them. Its been around month since they left and when they told us they were leaving Maddy and I were heartbroken.

And on the day they left we couldn't stop hugging them. In fact we almost killed them both because of how tight we hugged them. But now we are surprising them! And I'm so happy that we'll see them again. "So have you talked to Colby and Sam today?" I asked Maddy looking over at her.

She kept her eyes on the road but she nodded yes. "Yeah, but I told them that you and I are going to a concert" Maddy said making one quotation mark. I slightly laughed and looked back out the window.

  "Heh do you remember when Colby, Sam,You and I all went to the mall and they layed down on the floor in front of the escalator and a couple of people stepped on them" Maddy asked laughing.

  "Yeah I remember that, they had foot marks on the back of there shirts it was so funny" I laughed. "Hey, I've gotta tell you something" I began my sentence and looked at Maddy. "What's wrong?" Maddy asked looking over at me for a few seconds with a concern look. "I think...I still like Sam" I said putting my head down. "Seriously? I thought you got over him while we were in Senior year?" Maddy asked. "I did but I think that feeling never left" I sighed.

   "Are you ever going to tell him?" Maddy asked, clearly straight to the point. "I-Im not sure, I think so...but I don't know what if he already has a girlfriend?" I said keeping my head down. Maddy sighed "Look, I'm going to tell you this once, if you do wait to long then you'll miss your chance. I'm not saying text him right now and say 'I like you more than a friend', I'm saying that when we get there hangout with him for a little bit and then admit your feelings towards him". I sighed and nodded my head 

  "You're right, I can't wait and if he doesn't show any of the same feelings towards me then I'll just have to deal with it". Maddy chuckled lightly, I looked over at her and she had a big smile on her face. "What?" I asked confused. "Nothing its just we have been driving for almost three hours and the next gas station isn't for another four miles" She stated.

  "So why are you laughing?" I asked. "Because when we pull over it'll be your turn to drive, and after we reach that gas station then the next on won't be until another three to four hours and I know you drink a lot of raspberry ice tea". "You're evil" I said. Maddy giggled and nodded "I know I do it on purpose".
