The Day You Both Left (A Colby Brock and Sam Golbach Fanfic)

Chapter #23

(Its 1 week earlier from Ch. 22)

POV Maddy:

    I woke up and lay there in the bed. Colby was on the other side of me sleeping peacefully until I jolted up and ran to the bathroom. I emptied all the food from last night into the toilet. This has been going on for about two weeks now and I'm starting to get an idea why but it couldn't be true.

    I flushed the toilet and washed out my mouth and my hands. I exited out of the bathroom and went into the kitchen to grab some scrambled eggs with a glass of pineapple juice.

   Wait...I have never even had a sip of this crap in my entire life. What if...no I can't be. I sat down on the couch after grabbing my food and began to rewatch Supernatural for the 1000th time. 

   After to getting season 4 episode 18, I paused it right on Dean and got up and went to the kitchen. I pulled out a block of Colby Jack cheese. I cut it into slices and put it on a plate and set it in the living room and grabbed a small tub of Ben and Jerry's chocolate and vanilla ice cream. I went back into the living room and began to watch Supernatural and eat cheese and ice cream.

  "Hey, baby. Do you want me to fix breakfast....oh I see that you are already eating?" Colby joked making me roll my eyes. "Do you want me to grab anything for you from the store? I need to get a few things for a video" He asked. "Yeah, can you get another thing of ice cream, cheese, eggs, chili peppers, pickles, and two or three pregnancy tests?" I asked not thinking about the last thing. 

   "Alright see you in about an hour...wait...did you just say pregnancy test?!" He exclaimed. 'Crap...' I think to myself. I stay turned the towards the T.V and answer him, "It's a possibility...I'm not sure yet". He didn't respond except for walking away and opening and closing the door. Tears welled up in my eyes and my heart dropped. I began to sob uncontrollably. "What have I done?" I cried. 

  After about an hour or so of being a sobbing mess on the couch, I hear the door opening and closing and footsteps going into the kitchen. I hear the fridge being open and closed and cabinets doing the same.

    I then hear the footsteps come closer to me and see three pregnancy tests dropped next to me. "Thank you" I murmured. No response. I sigh and grab the tests and make my way to the bathroom. After doing all three tests and putting them in the sink, I look at the results which all pop up 5 seconds apart. 

Test one, positive

Test two, positive.

 Before I read the last one there was a knock at the door. "Baby? When you are finished I need to talk to you" Colby said. "Ok..." I replied barely loud enough for him to hear. I looked at the third test. My heart dropped then fluttered. 

  Positive.
