Chapter #34

Maddy's POV;
 
   Today was the day Kait and I were going to find out the baby's gender. Honestly I wouldn't have anyone else go with me. Except Colby but he doesn't know that today's the day we find out. He'll probably be pissed but he'll get over it. I think Kait needs this to distract her thoughts. I ate kind of quickly and called the doctors office to make sure the appointment was still on.

~5 minutes later~

   After I confirmed the appointment i went slowly up the stairs and went to get Kait. I knocked on her door and it quickly opened. My jaw tightened. It was the last person I wanted to see right now. Sam.

  "Oh hey-" Sam began but I quickly cut him off.

  "Where's Kait?" I ask impatient.

  "Be there in a second! I'm finishing my eyeliner!" Kait called from the room.

   "I'll be in the car!" I yelled back. "Where you guys going?" Sam asked. God damn I just want to slap him.

   "None of your damn business Golbach" I snap and make my way downstairs.

  I storm down the steps quickly but carefully making sure I don't fall. Once I reached the bottom I walked to the car. I got into the passenger seat since I didn't want to risk hurting the baby by hitting the brakes because of some random dickhead. I sat waiting in the car putting my head back and taking a deep breath in and letting it out slowly. It's for sure been a pain being pregnant. But I can't wait to find out what this baby will be. After like five minutes Kait opened the drivers door with tear stains down her face.

  "Kait?! What the duck happened?!" I ask quickly and angrily.

   "Sam and I got into a fight, we need to confront him soon. I can't do this anymore" She sobbed wiping tears with her wrists.

  "Alright Kait. Just breath. We'll do it before the gender reveal next week alright?" I ask in a calm voice to help her prevent a panic attack.

   She breaths slowly and stops crying and wipes the tears from her eyes. Her nose is red and her eyes are red and puffy. I am seriously going to beat Sam's ass once this is over, even if I'm pregnant. Kait backs out of the driveway and she drives at a pretty decent speed. It only took fifteen minutes instead of twenty-five. And she wasn't even going over the speed limit. She parks in a handicap spot since I'm pregnant and was able to get on of those things for that.

  We both get out of the car and I check in for my appointment and the wait began. The more time that passed, the more nervous and excited I got. I bounced my foot up and down. And Kait must've noticed because she told me to calm my ass down which made me laugh and put ease on me.

  "Madisyn B" The nurse called.

   Kait and I both stood up and walked into the back. "Hello Maddy, and who's this?" The nurse asked with a smile.

  "Oh this is Kait. She's been my best friend since middle school and I thought that it'll be better if she went" I said smiling.

  "Of course, will you two only know the gender?" She asked.

  I just nodded. "Alright just lay on the table and we'll get you all set up".

   Once everything was in order, the nurse put that warm stuff on my stomach and looked around my baby. I could see he/she moving their hand around.

  "You ready to know the gender?" She asked. Kait and I both nodded.

   "It's a...."

HELP I NEED YOU GUYS TO DECIDED THE BABY'S GENDER!!!! EITHER SAY BOY OR GIRL!! IF YOU WANT YOU CAN SUGGEST A NAME TOO! BYE!!
