POV Kait:
I couldn't believe it. Sam and Colby were right there we could see them perfectly. "Yeah. This is all for you Maddy and Kait" I heard Sam say. My face began to heat up, then I heard Maddy chuckle. Thats when we saw them. We jumped out and yelled, "Hey Boys!".
They then suddenly fell back which was amazing.
"This can't be happening!" Sam yelled. But I went to go help Sam up but he did something I will never forget.
He pulled me down with him and our faces were an inch or two apart. I began to laugh nervously and felt the heat rise to my cheeks. "H-hey Sam" I stuttered. He began to laugh so I laughed too. I then began to slowly get up, once I got up all the way I held my arm out for Sam to grab.
"Do not pull me back down!" I giggled.
He smiled and nodded his head "Fine I won't".
I smiled and rolled my eyes playfully. He grabbed my hand which made me blush. I then quickly pulled him up and hugged him. Tears actually began to come down. "I missed you so much" I said sniffling.
"I missed you too" He replied. My grip on him tightened and I then buried my face into to his shoulder and began to cry softly.
"Hey its okay don't cry were all here now" Sam said comforting me.
I began to giggle and I pulled away from our hug. I wiped the tears from my eyes and began to smile. "So did you miss us?" I asked. "Well it was pretty quiet from the time we left Kansas and the time we showed up, but it was too quiet" Sam smiled. "Heh, well....GET READY FOR MORE NOISE!" I yelled.
"I think you just blew out my eardrums" Sam stated.*Time skip to Sam and Colby's apartment*
I was sitting on the couch when Sam called me into his room. "Whatcha need Golbach?" I asked. He chucked slightly but he had his back turned looking out the window. "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked. He turned around with a smile. "I wanna take you someplace". "W-Where?" I stuttered. "Its a surprise" Sam said grabbing my hand and running out of his room past Colby and Maddy.
Before we ran out the front door I yelled, "I ship it!".
And with that we were running out the door, to the elevator and then outside. We then went into his car and he began to drive off. "Sorry if I scared you when I turned around with a smile and said 'I wanna take you someplace', I didn't mean to sound creepy" Sam apologized while keeping his eyes on the road.
It was almost sunset, it was probably about 30 minutes away from it actually and everything is either closed or getting ready to be closed. "Oh, its fine" I insisted. "I'm glad you and Maddy moved up here" He said. I looked over at him with a smile. "Me too" I replied.
'Okay remember what Maddy said, hangout for a little bit and then tell him' I thought to myself. Suddenly the car stopped and we were right in front of a beach. And the sun was just about to set.
Sam then quickly got out of the car and ran over to my side and opened the door for me. "Aww what a gentleman" I laughed. He smiled and held out his hand. I felt the heat rush to my cheeks but I grabbed his hand.
He then led me to a big dock that had the most perfect view. "I-Its amazing..." I said. It was perfect the sun was setting and the pink, orange and yellow colors reflected on the ocean. I looked over at Sam and he looked at me.
'I'm just going to tell him now!' I thought to myself.
"Sam, I-I need to tell you something" I said looking down. "What is it?". 'I can't its way to early' I thought. "I, um" I looked back at him. His face just told me he was ready to here what I was going to say.
But I just couldn't, "I really enjoy spending time with you and doing this type of stuff with you" I said. "O-oh, me too, maybe we can do this every day?" He asked.
His face, it'll haunt me forever, his face was filed with hurt.
I sighed and smiled, "That would be so cool".
