Chapter #4

POV: Kait

   I couldn't believe what Maddy was telling me. I mean they used to date but they had to break up because they wouldn't be able to deal with a long distant relationship.

  But I couldn't believe she still had a thing for him. But I guess this is the way she reacted when I told her I still had a thing for Sam.

   "Well are you going to tell him?" I asked her.

  "I might but I'm not going to let you give me my own advise so nice try" She replied with sass. "Damn it, I had an opportunity and you took it away from me!" I yelled slightly. All Maddy could do was laugh and I just rolled my eyes at her. After she finished her laughing fit she looked at me with a smile.

  I then sighed and smiled back at her. "So when are we going to go surprise them?" I asked Maddy. "Um I was thinking maybe in a day or two just so we can settle in first" Maddy replied getting up from the couch and going into the kitchen.

  "Okay thats fine with me, but make sure you tell me when so I looks half way decent" I said.

  I heard Maddy laugh from the kitchen but I was being serious. If I was going to tell Sam I like him after hanging out with him for a good couple of hours or so then, I want to look cute for him. They say looks don't matter, well it does for me.

  Maddy had then came back into the Living room with a bowl of her favorite cereal. She then sat down on the sofa and began munching on her cereal.

   I suddenly sat closer and closer to her until I was able to reach my hand by the bowl until she slapped my hand. I pulled away quickly

  "You touch the food and you're dead" She said with serious look.

   I began to smile but then my smile became a giggle. Soon Maddy started to giggle also. I then began to yawn, I grabbed my phone from the mini table on the side of the couch and checked the time.

   "Holy crap its already 12:28, we stayed up for along time".

   I stated turning my phone off and getting off the couch. I stretched my arms and looked over at Maddy you seemed to be texting someone. "Who ya texting?" I asked.

   "Colby.." She said.

  "OooOo" I teased her.

She then shot her head up at me and gave a death glare. All I could do was laugh slightly given the fact I was so tired.

   I yawned again, "Alright I'm going *yawn* to bed" I said dragging my feet to my room ever so slowly.

  "Alright, see you in the morning goodnight" Maddy said.
