POV: Maddy❤

Today. Today I go see my best friends. Today I go see my ex? It's really not like that though. Colby is the kind of guy you break up with because long distance won't work out. Then you cry for two and a half weeks strait. Then you become best friends again. I still like Colby a lot. I miss him. Honestly I'm gonna be surprised if I don't cry. The boys still don't know whats going on.

The idiots believed us when we told them to hike up to the HOLLYWOOD sign to send us pictures. They did think it was oddly specific that we wanted them at around noon but still agreed like there was no tomorrow.

"You ready?" Kait asks me. I'm wearing the same hoodie I wore the whole three day drive here with black leggings and black Nike shoes.

"I think so," I shakily replied. "Are you ready?"

"I think so," she repeated.

We hike about half way up and put towels on the ground to sit on. We planned it out so that we would get there about 15 minutes early. 15 minutes. I would see the best three people to exist standing in front of me. Words don't even explain what I'm feeling right now. I can't explain the feeling of my stomach flipping over its self. The feeling of my heart racing at the mention of his name. The only thing between us was 15 minutes.

The time slowly inching closer. I couldn't even begin to think about how nervous poor Kait was. We haven't talked since we got up here and sat our butts on these towels. And now we wait. 10 minutes. I wish I could control time. Kait looked as if she were about to chew her fingers off when she was out of nails. Then I said "We out here boo!" referencing the other day.

"We out here boo," she confirmed. I was speechless. What do I say? I'm about to come face to face with the only people I have left to love... Long story. The only thing coming between us is 5 minutes. 5 more damn minutes. The longest 5 minutes of my life might I just say.

Thats when we hear it. "Whats up guys its Sam and Colby!" his perfect voice. I've always loved hearing Colby say that.

"Today we are taking a little walk up to the HOLLYWOOD sign."

"Are you excited bro?"

"Yeah. This is all for you Maddy and Kait," I chuckled when I saw Kait go red when Sam said that. In this very moment right now we are invincible. This is amazing. Im gonna see them again. The people I love. I'm about to see them for the first time in a month. I can feel my eyes stinging with tears.

Finally we see them. We jump out at them and they both fall back. "Hey boys!" Kait and I say in unison. Not even gonna lie it was kinda awesome.

"This isn't happening!" Sam yelled as Kait walked over to help him up. Sam had other plans though. He pulled Kait right down with him.

As for Colby, I ran over and attacked him in hugs and even kissed his cheek. "This has nothing to do with pictures does it?" Colby asked

"No we're still gonna go get some awesome Instagram pics." I say. Colby stands up and we properly hug. What completely took me back was when he pecked my lips. I've been longing for this for a month. A month and 15 minutes.

"By the way I like your hoodie you got there beauty," Colby said to me.

"Good."
