Chapter 17

I stood face to face to Ricky. I stared through his soul. I wanted him to feel how bad this ass whopping would be. The lord knows my heart and he knows I am humble but this guy right here needed his mouth permanently shut and I was here to do it. I glanced around to see my brother and Honey in the crowd. "Go Julian" she screamed. I looked around seeing if Sevyn would show up but my thoughts soon left when the match started. The bell rung and I quickly lunged towards him punching him in the face he didn't see it coming. He skipped around lunging towards me but he missed. I could hear him mumbling shit under his breath. He lounged towards me striking me in the face. I skipped around hitting him multiple times, watching him struggle to block his hits.

"Damn" I mumbled watching the game. I couldn't get much footage because cameras were banned but I got as much as I could. I was impressed as hell at the game seeing him all aggressive and in fight mode was kind of turning me on. "He's fucking him up" I said to Omari. "That's my bro, he's a fucking beast" he said. I turned around to see his girlfriend walk in. She walked in with a tight bodycon dress on with heels. I couldn't lie she looked cute. It was kind of awkward instantly because I had on a dress and heels as well. I was coming to a game from an interview with Elle and Essence Magazine.

"Hey Omari" she smiled hugging him. "Hey Sev, glad to see you came from under a rock" he joked.

"I know I just been busy with school" she said. "I understand" he said. "Hi Honey" she said greeting me. "Hey Sevyn, how are you? I asked. "I'm good and yourself? She asked. "I'm okay" I said turning my attention back on the game. It was slight tension but not as much as I expected. I know she thinks I'm trying to get in her way but I wasn't, I simply just wanted my friend back.

"How's the game? She asked. "It's good, he's winning" I said. She nodded her head continuing to look at the game. Once the break started I watched her go over to where she was. She tapped his shoulder waiting for him to turn around. He was ecstatic once he saw her. He leaned over giving her a kiss I watched her smirk beside me continuing to watch the game. All of a sudden Julian got hit hard the both of us jumped up at the same time. "Shit" I said. I felt my heart race down my chest a little "Oh my gosh baby" she said running up to him. He split blood from out his mouth. I know it was a match but the image wasn't a good one. I hated seeing blood pour from out his mouth. He sat on the chair as the people cleaned around his mouth. This Ricky guy couldn't win at all, I watched him grin cockily. He blew me a kiss from afar. I rolled my eyes as I made my way over to Julian.

"You got this Julian, don't let this cocky ass nigga win" I said. Sevyn side eyed me "Just think of all those people that doubted you in high school and called you fat and made fun of you" I said.
