There's a lot of yelling and dialogue in this chapter so...
"Welcome to Candor headquarters. If you don't know who I am, my name is Jack Kang. And I am the leader of Candor." Jack Kang's voice rang in the giant lobby of Candor Headquarters. It barely fit all of us. "I would also like to welcome back all of the transfers back. Now for a quick attendance." The edge of his eyes crinkle as he smiles.
"Erudite?" The Erudite clap in response. Quietly.
"Amity." More claps.
"Abnegation." They barely do anything, just wave.
"And last, but not least, Dauntless." Probably being the most loudest faction, we scream and roar. "And before we start, I would like anybody who has any weapon to please turn them over ." Jack says, looking straight at the black cluster of Dauntless. I walk to the table where guns and knives lay. Hesitant, I place my gun and knife on the table.
"If you follow Alan, he will lead you to your beds." Tobias grabs my hand and intwines our fingers together. I lean on him as we walk to a huge hallway where cots lay in each side. Evenly spaced. At the foot of the cot is a sign with our faction and name. I find me and Tobias' next to each other. Next to Caleb and my parents. Great. I throw my backpack on the floor and plop on the bed. Letting out a huff. An older Candor lady hands me a change of clothes. Tobias also gets one.
I walk to the nearest bathroom and lock the door to the stall. Stripping of my black clothes and into white and black ones. Unlocking the door, I look in the mirror. I wear a white v-neck and a black blazer. Soft black jeggings with gold zippers hug my legs. And finally the Candor outfit is topped with black peep toe high heels.
I walk out of the bathroom and make my way back to my cot. I stuff my old clothes in my backpack, when strong arms wrap around my waist. I turn around and my eyes look him up and down. Tobias wears a white button up shirt that he has rolled up to his elbows. Black dress pants and shoes pull the outfit together. I laugh.
"You look very handsome, if I'm being honest." I say with a smile. Tobias smiles while putting a hand under his chin, as if striking a pose. I laugh again.
"And you look very beautiful. I think your blue hair pulls it all together. Now Peter can stop calling you short, those heels make you at least 2 inches taller." He says. I place wrap my arms around his neck and place his hands on my hips.
"Well at least I'm tall enough to do this." I crash my lips to his. Tobias pushes us against a wall. Our lips move in complete synchronization. We breathe each other air, both of us taking in this moment. Or we would have if Peter have kept his comments to his self.
"Dang, I didn't know that a stiff like you could kiss like that. If I did I would've tried to be nicer." Peter snarks. We break away, both glaring at Peter.
"A nice Peter? Is that even possible." Will fires back. Christina and the rest of gang right behind him. Christina chuckles.
The rest of them wear similar outfits like me and Tobias.
