Everybody sits in the meadow, waiting for the representative of Amity. The walk was long, but Tobias and I found a little game to pass the time.

"Welcome everyone! If you don't know who I am, my name is Johanna Reyes. Please follow me to your bunks." Johanna, with a scar near her eyes says. An Amity smile paints her faces.

We follow her to an area filled with little houses. They go as far as I can, and maybe even more.

"We use for initiates, but for the next day they will be yours. Each house holds up to 5 people. Make yourself comfortable and then meet in the dining hall for lunch." Johanna smiles one last time and walks off.

"Uriah, you're with Zeke." I immediately say.

"What why?" Uriah whines.

"Because we can only fit five people and Chris, Will, and Lynn aren't rowdy and loud." Tobias intercepts.

"But I want to hang out with Trissy!"

"Call me that again, and you'll be sleeping with the horses." I threaten.

Uriah gives a puff and follows his brother and his girlfriend into a cabin. Tobias slips his hand into my and we find one right next to Uri's. He opens the door and a wave of wood and dust swims up my nose. It's comforting. I love it.

Will, Lynn and Christina pull up the rear and choose a bedroom. Chris and Will share one and Lynn locks herself in a room. I sigh and make my way to a room at the far end of the hallway. I throw my bag on the bed and heave myself onto it.

"Something wrong?" Tobias asks, standing at the door.

"Yes. Everything is wrong." I sit up and Tobias sits down next to me.

"My family hates me. We're going to have to deal with Marcus—"

"Who said anything about Marcus?" Tobias interrupts." He's my problem not yours."

"I just wanna forget about everything and focus on the festival. I want it to be fun for the both of us, but that can't happen if me and my brother at each other's throats."

"Okay then listen to me. Instead of yelling and arguing with him, talk to him calmly and try to settle this."

"Tobias, I'm Dauntless. I don't do calm."

"No you're not. You're Divergent and that is what makes you special from everybody else."

I look at him and get lost in his deep blue eyes. His spare upper lip. I take a deep breath.

"God, I love you." I press my lips to his and he places his hands on my cheeks, bringing me closer to him.

"Tris, look this dress is so cute. You have to wear it—of am I interrupting something?" Christina says as she barges into our room with a bright yellow dress.

"Yes, you kinda where." I deadpan.

"Whatever. Put this on, and meet the rest of us at the dining hall." She throws the dress at me and skips out.

"Well, I guess there goes our moment." Tobias walks across the room and opens the closet. Red and yellow clothes hang from hangers.

"I'm going to go change." I walk out of the room and into the bathroom across the hall. It smells like pine and toilet water.

I take off the clothes I threw on this morning and slip on the yellow dress. The sleeves fall to my shoulders and the hem ends a little past my knees. I walk out of the bathroom and fish out my hairbrush from the my bag. Once I find it, I brush the tangles out of my hair. The black and blue of my hair contrasting from the bright yellow of the dress.

"So, how do I look?" Says Tobias as he walks to the foot of the bed. It's shocking to see a dauntless in such bright and happy clothes, but seeing Tobias in the  get up is another story.

"You look like a bango-strumming-weed-smoking idiot." I say. He laughs.

"Thank you." Tobias smiles."I was going for it."

"And how do I look?"

"Beautiful. As always."

"Thank you." I say as I peck his lips.

"Now, lets go be overly happy." Tobias says with a smile.

I laugh.

I grab Tobias's hand and we both walk out the warm sweet air.

What another great chapter! Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. Wattpad is glitching And is crashing so it's hard to write.

Also I started 8th grade so I have a lot of homework and chores and it's just hard to update in between.

Hopefully I can update soon.

Bye!😋
