I've never met a girl like you, and you'll never find a man like me

Saying his name for the first time made Negina realize how weird it sounded going through her voice.
With the flowers in Negina's hands, the couple pose to the cameras. Pictures are took, smiles are smiled, and tears have fallen. Food has been served and now everyone is eating while making conversation with one another.
"Negina jan, the shirini khori will be in a few months." (Engagement.) Negina's mom informs her. The worst of worst has already happened to her, so Negina nods with her eyes closed deeply in thoughts about Khalid.
"Why wait so long, it'll be in two weeks." It's Negina's husbands mom who shocks Negina, which causes her to choke on the beverage in her hand. Lema claps the back of her throat a couple times before Negina pushes her away.
"But-" Negina starts however her mother exclaims before her, "Oh that's wonderful!"
Somehow the men and women are once again separated and the music is now playing louder than ever, in both rooms. Negina couldn't help but peek at the next door living room.
Some are playing cards and some of them are smoking while doing that, some are drinking tea, some are dancing, and some are just sitting around lazily.
On the other hand, in the women's room the music is playing louder than ever. Some are drinking tea with sweets, some are devouring fruit, and young girls are dancing like maniacs.
Negina sits on the couch, unable to move from her spot. She's stuck in her mind thinking about her future. She is more than afraid to even think about what it could be like to be married. Even the word in between her teeth felt foreign. What if her husband wants kids from her? What'll happen on their wedding night?
"The bride must dance!"
Negina is snapped out of her thoughts hearing that. Cockily she smiles, "Yeah, Ameena. It's time for your dance." She says to the Malik's new daughter in law.
"I'm not the only bride." She argues.
Negina smirks back, "I'm not a bride for two more weeks."
One of the ladies gets a hold on Ameena's hand and pulls her to the middle of the room leaving Negina smiling in achievement. "I'll get you back!"
And so the dancing continues. Ladies and gentlemen I have a question for you. Until what time do you think an afghan party goes up too?
11 PM? 12Am?
Apparently not because it's 1 AM now and the 'games' begin now.
"Ladies, listen up. Dunno what language to explain this in, so I'll explain it in English." Fareshta, Khalid's sister, yells out clapping her hands to get everyone's attention. Negina notices a plastic cup with little pieces of paper all crumbled up in Mary's hand.
Negina was nominated to be the DJ, not that she minds. After connecting her phone she tells Fareshta that she's ready.
"Each persons going to pick one. On these papers there's a type of dance. Waltz, tango, ballet, hip hop, break dancing, and so on. And whatever you pick, you'll have to dance to it."
Oh, boy. This'll be fun.
"Any volunteers?" Fereshta asks wiggling the cup up and down. No one says a word until Fareshta gets annoyed and holds the cup out for Madina.
