it was the first week of calum & fleur officially boyfriend and girlfriend. fleur would constantly always come over after work to his apartment and the two of them and bella would have dinner, watch tv or play games till it was getting late and fleur would head home.
it was wednesday night and calum had put bell to bed while fleur hung around a little later than usual. when he came out of her bedroom he rejoined her on the sofa and kissed hus girlfriend's neck and jaw. "calum?" fleur asked asked as he pulled her closer.
"hmm?" he hummed. "what are we gonna do about arabella? like she just thinks im a friend that always comes over and sleeps over but i dont want her to think im replacing her mom it just- i–"
"baby, dont worry about it okay?" calum looked up at her eyes and grabbed her hand rubbing it. "ill tell her and explain everything to her. i promise."
"okay." fleur nodded and hugged him. he held her tightly and they stayed like that for a while with the tv in the background playing. fleur finally pulled away and stood up. "i should go home, i need to shower for work tomorrow still."
calum nodded and walked her to the door. he put his hands on her waist and kissed her gently. he never wanted to leave fleur. he hated saying bye to her and just wanted to stay with her forever. "ill miss you so much." he whispered.
she laughed. "i text you though." he shrugged and hugged her again.
"its not the same, i just love holding and kissing you." calum grinned and kissed her cheek. he finally released fleur and watched her goto her car. once she was finally gone, he shut the door and headed to bed himself.
after work the next day, calum decided he was gonna take arabella out for ice cream and tell her whats been going on.
when the two of them walked into the ice cream parlor, he picked her up and showed her all the flavors. "daddy i want chocolate." she answered and pointed to it.
"out of all the flavors here, you choose the most basic?! i thought you would go all out bell." calum gasped and she laughed.
"but i like chocolate! you can get something else." bella replied and made a face.
"oh alright then." calum sighed playfully and ordered for the two of them. once they had their ice cream they got napkins (cause calum knew she'd make a instant mess) and sat at a table outside.
"princess can i tell you something?" calum asked and arabella looked up at him. "sure dada."
"okay, if you have any questions you can ask when im done, alright?" he asked and she nodded so he continued. "fleur and i... really like each other, like more than just being friends. so i asked her to be my girlfriend and that means, like i hug her and kiss her and romantic stuff."
"why do you like each other?" she asked.
calum bit his lip and thought of how to say it. "well, we like each other because i make fleur happy & she makes me happy too. and we also have common interests."
"oh, can uncle mikey be your girlfriend then?" she asked.
calum laughed and kissed her forehead. "thats a whole other thing i would have to talk about next time baby."
"okie." she said and continued to eat her ice cream. he smiled and the two of them finished their cold treats before heading back home.

calum face timed her and she quickly answered. she was in bed eating lemón chips in a bralette and shorts.
"you lied." he frowned. "and what are you eating?"
"chips." fleur replied with a mouthful.
"i want some. im hungry but im too lazy to make food. MAKE ME FOOD." he whined and hugged his pillow.
"im not ur slave. postmates & uber eats are your slaves. JUST KIDDING JUST KIDDING. but really tho use one of those if youre hungry." she said and continued to pop chips in her mouth.
"you're right. what should i order?" he asked and closed facetime and went to download uber eats as he thought of what he wanted to get.
"ummmm... you should order chick fil a." she smiled. "send me some too yeah?"
"alright, what do you want princess?" calum asked as he looked for chick fil a on the app.
"wait you're serious?" fleur asked.
"yeah. what do you want?" he laughed and she gapsed.
"OH MY GOD CALUM YOURE THE BEST BOYFRIEND." she screamed. "and i want the deluxe chicken sandwhich with fries and a root beer.
"okie dokie. just send me your address so i put it in." calum said as he chose what she wanted on the app.
"yay thank you so much you're literally perfect." fleur said happily as she texted him her address. he placed her order and then his own.
they continued to face time and watched as each of them get their own food. "wait before you eat, hold up your bag and ill do the same and ima screenshot it."
"why?" calum laughed but did so.
"because we're cute." she smiled and winked at him.
"we are." he winked back.
