-one month later-
calum was probably the happiest he's felt in a long time and he didn't want it to end. if he wasn't with the group, he was with fleur and bella—the two people the loved to absolute death.
calum: dinner at your plate still on right?
girlfriend <3: yep! dont forget to bring ice cream!!!!!!!
calum: i know i know chill im actually omw right now to the store
girlfriend <3: okay just making sure, be safe baby love you 💖💖
calum: love you more ;)
calum grabbed his keys, shoving them in his pocket before walking over to arabella's bedroom.
"hun we gotta goto the store really quick to get some things." he told her as she sat on the floor playing with her dolls.
"okay daddy. im gonna try and put on my shoes!" she said confidently, getting up and walking over picking up her lil velcro vans. bella struggled a bit sliding her feet into the shoes but she got it and copied what she see calum do.
"look, look! i did it!" she cheered.
"thats my girl!" he smiled, scooping her up and giving her a big kiss on the cheek. "now lets go!!!" he said and ran out their apartment, making rocket noises as if they blasted off.
bella laughed in a fit of giggles, waving her hands in the air as he walked to their car. "that was fun" she said. calum smiled and kissed her forehead before locking her in her carseat.
the duo made a run to target (oof bc he works there), getting ice cream like fleur wanted, some snacks and calum let her choose a toy.
while arabella played with her brand new toy, calum got dressed for his lil dinner date with fleur. he put on the button up she had boughten him recently after they went to the mall shopping because he apparently "didn't know how to dress himself." calum thought otherwise but he wanted to make his baby girl happy. once he was gone he got all he needed and swung over to luke and amelia's to drop of bella before heading to fleurs place.
the last time calum was here was when they had their first "date" and he met her mother. he was hoping this time around it would just be the two of them.
he parked his car and walked up the house with the ice cream. he knocked on the door and saw fleur run to the door from the window. she opened it and had a big smile on her face.
"hi my love." he said and gave her a peck on the lips."
"hi." she replied back and smiled before gasping in excitement. "you're wearing the top i bought you!!"
"duh—why wouldnt i?" he laughed as she let him inside. she took the ice cream from him and put it in the fridge before coming back to the living room.
"so, is this your house or is it like, your families?" he asked as he sat on the couch.
"it's my parent's but they're all gone so we dont need to worry about them." she said and sat next them. "enough of that, are you hungry? i attempted to make sushi."
"yes im starving." he said.
"alright ill go get the platters. brb babe." she said and came back with two plates full of sushi.
"these look pretty good." calum said as he examined them. they looked like any normal sushi.
fleur sighed of relief. "thank god. i tried so hard for them to come out right." she handed him chop sticks and they began to eat.
calum shoved a whole piece of sushi, making fleur laugh at chubby filled cheeks. he swallowed it after chewing a bit before laughing out loud with her. she got her chopsticks and booped calums nose.
"you're so cute." she smiled, making him smile too.
"thank you. i try." he replied and got another piece of sushi but this time he wanted to feed it to fleur. "open your mouth, love." fleur did as he commanded and he plopped it in her mouth. she looked just like calum when he had a mouth full of sushi.
while they both giggled, there was a knock at the door. "i swear if that's my mom⏤" she got up and went to the door, opening it. calum watched once she opened the door, there was a face of shock painted.
"fleur! i'm back!" someone said and hugged her tight. it was a guy. while he hugged fleur, she stood there, limp, not hugging him back. calum got up and went to the door once the guy pulled away from her.
"babe who is this?" calum asked, looking confused as heck. she looked at him and blinked before looking at the guy.
"babe?" the strange man asked. "fleur what's going on?" the guy asked her now. she still didn't answer and looked like her mind was going to explode.
"yeah, shes my girlfriend." calum said, getting protective and put a hand around her waist. the guy knitted his eyebrows together in confusion.
"but shes my girlfriend."
