when calum and fleur pulled up to ashton & emma's home, they rushed to the door. ashton opened it and let them in.
"ill meet you at the hospital okay? oh um by the way this is my... friend fleur." calum said.
"hi fleur im sorry for the inconvenience, im ashton but ill give a proper introduction once i handle everything with my wife." he said and smiled a little.
"no oh problem dont worry about it. im here for any help needed." she smiled. she is literally an angel, calum thought.
"fleur!" arabella yelled and ran to her and calum.
"hey! c'mon lets go in the car and wait for your dad." she smiled and picked up bella, walking her to calum's car.
calum helped ashton get emma to their car and both drove to the hospital in their cars. "daddy where are we all going?" bella asked.
"well aunty emma isnt feeling good. you know how she has a baby in her tummy? something might be wrong so we're gonna see whats happening." he explained to his daughter.
"oh okay, uncle ashton was really scared." she frowned. "i hope aunty emma is okay."
"me too." he said and sighed. when they got to the hospital, they all waited in the waiting room. for while bella was having a blast but slowly she getting sleepy cause it was getting near her bedtime.
"daddy, when are we gonna go home?" arabella asked.
"i dont know baby. c'mere if you wanna sleep princess." he said and took her in his arms. she barred her face in his neck and he sang to her quietly. fleur watched in silence as bell was quickly sound asleep.
"calum, you sing so pretty what the heck." she said quietly.
"oh, uh. thanks." he said and felt his face get warm.
she smiled at him and he smiled back. ashton came out and sat with them. "hey, so hows em?" calum asked.
"shes fine. nothing big, it was just normal pain some women feel, sometimes they dont feel it. shes just resting for now. you guys can go home if you want. we'll be okay." ashton smiled and then gasped and saw fleur. "oh so i never gave a proper hello!" he said and held his hand out to her.
"its fine, its nice to know calum has other friends than just me." she smiled and he laughed.
"i like her cal." ashton smiled and fleur did too.
they chatted for a bit till it was getting late and cal, fleur and bella headed back to his apartment.
first he put arabella to bed and then him and fleur went to his bedroom and changed into pajamas (she put one of his shirts on).
"so, uh, you never got to finish what you wanted to tell me." fleur smiled while biting her bottom lip.
"right," he said and they sat criss cross apple sauce from each other on the bed. he played with his fingers, looking up to her and down at his hands. "do you want to be my girlfriend?"
"yeah." she giggled. he looked up and had a huge smile. "boyfriend."
"alright, girlfriend." he mocked and the two of them laughed. she leaned in and kissed him. "i was gonna sing to you before everything happened but.."
"no calum please sing to me!" she whined. "from what i heard i loved it. please please please sing to me!"
"....fine" calum sighed but with a smile and went to get his guitar. he came back and sat back on the bed in front of her.
