literally the day after, emma had gone into labor late that night. everyone was so excited and anxious to meet the new addition to ashton and emma's family but also to the growing number of children within the group. when ashton let everyone know they could come to the hospital to join them, calum, arabella & fleur of course went.
it was nine at night when calum went to pick up fleur from her house, the girl coming out in a extra large hoodie and sandals. arabella had fallen asleep on the drive over since it was near her bedtime but calum was glad to sorta have some alone time with his girlfriend.
"you look cute." calum chuckled as fleur hopped in the car, putting on her seat belt. she just rolled her eyes, calum leaning over and kissing her lips. they tasted like chapstick, making him smile against her. he tried to deepen the kiss, fleur giggling against him as she held his face.
"we gotta goto the hospital." she mumbled in between his pecks.
"shh, we'll be there soon." he hummed, lips trailing down her neck, leaving a few kisses before finally pulling. fleurs cheeks were heating up as his hand rested on her thigh as he drove them to the hospital, soft music playing on the radio as they drove through the quiet streets.
"fleur?" calum spoke up, eyes on the road. she hummed, her hand resting on his, touching his skin gently. "what if we lived together?"
she looked over at her boyfriend, a smile evident as he popped the question. it made her heart flutter at the thought of living with calum and arabella. "that would be nice. waking up with you everyday." she said softly, calum looking at her with a matching smile.
"well, my lease ends in two months. we can start looking at apartments if you want. otherwise, we can always wait. whenever you're ready." calum said softly, picking up her delicate hands, lips kissing her skin before laying it back down again.
shortly after, calum pulled up to the hospital, shutting the car off and picking up arabella out of her carseat, wrapping the blanket they brought around her small body. with his daughter in one hand, he interviewed fleurs fingers with his other as they entered the ER. once they signed in and everything, they found luke and amelia sitting in the waiting room already.
"hey you guys made it." amelia smiled, getting up and hugging them. luke was curled up in his chair, asleep like bella.
"is michael coming?" calum asked, the couple sitting down next to luke and amelia. arabella stirred in her sleep, head cradled in calums neck, breathing softly.
"he said he was leaving like five minutes ago. he'll be here soon." she answered before talking to fleur. everything with emma and ashton finally having their baby finally was taking calum back and reminiscing when arabella was about to be born. the last few minuets till he was officially a dad. it was definitely a moment he'll never forget but he also couldn't help but have a bit of baby fever.
he imagined having a baby with fleur. how beautiful she could be with a cute little pregnant tummy, or what their baby would look like. calum didn't know if fleur ever thought about things like this; he hoped she did. he swore he was falling for the girl so bad. he just wanted to spend every second with her because he loved her so much.
"baby, you want any coffee? amelia and i are gonna get some." fleur asked, getting up from her seat and looking at her boyfriend, smiling gently.
"please, thank you, love." he answered, his girl leaning down to peck his lips quickly before walking off. he sighed softly, rubbing arabella's back as she slept on him. while the girls were gone, ashton cane out, looking tired as ever.
"how's it going in there?" calum chuckled as his friend sat down next to him.
"em definitely isn't happy right now but they're about to give her the epidermal so hopefully she'll feel better. her back has been killing her." he sighed, face barring in his hands. "i'm so tired."
"take a little nap, ash. em's parents are here right? just rest a bit." calum patted ashton on the back, chuckling at his friend.
"what if i miss the birth of my baby?"
"you aren't gonna miss the birth, dumbass." calum laughed. ashton pulled his hands out of his face, looking at his friend before leaning back in the chair. "go ash, get some rest."
"alright, i'll come back later."

it had been two hours and still no baby yet. emma had officially gone into labor tho, contractions coming but they still had a bit to go till the baby was here. arabella was sleeping on luke now, calum's friend cuddling her as he slept too. fleur was leaning on calum's shoulder, eyes tired too but she was determined to stay up.
"come 'ere, baby girl." calum patted his lap for her, the girl crawling out of her seat and sitting on him. he wrapped his arms around her waist as her face was snuggled perfectly in his neck, her lips pressing lazy kisses.
"oh, i forgot to tell you guys," michael spoke up, playing with his water bottle. "i met someone"
amelia perked her head up, eyebrow raised. "tell us more."
"well," the blonde sighed. "her name is crystal. shes really nice and we've been talking for a while. i bet her at the club with her friends."
"im happy for you, man. we gotta meet her soon." calum smiled.
"dont worry. ill bring her around."
calum looked over at fleur who was now asleep, heavy breathing, almost snores but not quite, softly heard in his ear. he squeezed her, cuddling the girls body. luke woke up again, yawning as he tried to stretch a little, hoping he wouldn't wake arabella.
sadly, she did, stirring and groaning. "daddy." she called out, still her eyes closed. calum bit his lip, fleur was still asleep on him but luckily luke calmed her.
calum's phone buzzed, along with the others phones, all of them gasping as they read the text ashton sent to their group chat.
ashton: emma's being sent to the delievery room :-)
amelia gasped, luke still trying to wake up, michael sighing in relief and calum tapped fleur to wake her up. "fleur, baby, em's going to give birth." he said softly, kissing her temple. the girl hummed, picking her head up, not really hearing what he said.
"what happened?" she asked.
"em's about to have the baby." calum smiled at
her. instantly, she glowed, sleepy smile going across her lips. he couldn't help but kiss her forehead, hugging her as she tried to wake up.
about an hour later, em's parents called ashton's friends, all of them piling into the hospital room, seeing emma holding a baby, ashton watching in awe. the newborn was wrapped in a pink blanket, sleeping it looked like. when ashton saw them enter, he smiled so big at his friends, coming up and hugging them all. emma looked up that them, waving and smiling huge too.
"meet anis." ashton said, amelia already crying into lukes chest. calum couldn't help but feel a little teary eyed as well. he was holding his own little baby in his arms so he knew how exciting the moment was.
everyone went around, being able to hold anis. when fleur was holding her, she was smiling so big, calum snapping some pictures for her but also for himself. his heart swelling at the moment in front of him. she looked up at her boyfriend, giggling softly.
"shes so tiny and cute."
"she is." calum smiled back.
fleur held the little baby for a little while more before it was calum's turn, arabella on his lap as she was able to see anis too.
"when you were born, you were this small too baby. now you're gonna have a baby cousin to play with." calum said softly, looking down at his daughter and now new niece.
"really?" arabella asked, calum humming in return. bella looked at the little baby smiling. "hi cousin."
calum glowed, kissing arabellas head before handing the baby back to emma. now the baby fever was hitting him like a truck.
