"Daddy I don't want to be here."
Calum and Bella where sitting in a children's doctors office because she was having a fever and threw up last night and Calum didn't really know what to give her. She kept complaining that either her nose was stuffy to her throat hurting badly. So they where sitting together, Calum was watching all the mom's handle there sick kids as he was the only male with his child which was on his phone playing this game he had download called Mr.Crabs that Bella and himself both seemed to like.
"Arabella Hood." A nurse called out his daughters name. They both sat up, Bella still staring down at her daddy's phone tapping at the large screen, trying to save the baby crabs.
Calum lead Bella to the nurse as the nurse took them to a room, taking Bella's temperature, height, weight then left the two of them in the room for the doctor to come.
"Daddy?"
"Yes?"
"When will Fleur come back?" She asked. Calum bit his lip and fiddled with his thumbs as his hands where together, resting on his thighs as he sat forward in the chair next to the doctors bed that Bella sat on in her little pink pajamas that she stayed in with her Disney Princess jacket over it that was covered in flowers.
"I don't know, baby girl." He answered as stared at his feet rather than his daughter's dark brown eyes, (which she had gotten from Calum) because he didn't want to tell her yes but not no because he really didn't know when or even if Fleur was going to see them again.
Arabella just simply nodded just as Dr Marano walked in, closing the door behind her and giving Bella a small smile, making her smile back. "Hi, Arabella. What brings you and your dad here?" Dr Marano was flipping threw the pages on the clipboard, looking at what the previous nurse had written down and doctor trips that had happened in the past.
Bella, of course, looked at Calum for him to talk as if it was his queue. "Well, She's been coughing, she says her nose has been stuffy and she also threw up last night." He answered as he went threw the symptoms his daughter had.
She nodded as she examined Bella. Having her stick her tongue out to check her throat, looked at her eyes and other areas on her small body before turning her head to Calum. "I think she may have caught the flu." Dr Marano had finally concluded. "Did Arabella get her flu shot?"
Calum bit down on his lip before his eyes flickered up to her, shaking his head slowly. She just nodded in response with a very straight face before turning to Bella. "Well, you're going to have to stay in bed and get better, okay?" She told his daughter. Arabella nodded in response before the doctor told her to choose her sticker out in the hallway with her, leaving Calum alone.
He sighed deeply at the way the doctor looked at him. Was he a bad parent for not getting the shot for her or was it doctors just being doctors with their germaphobe thing? Whatever it was it made Calum feel like he was a bad parent.
"Daddy! Look what I got." Smiling Bella ran back into the room with Dr Marano behind her. She held up her sticker which appeared to be Ariel the Mermaid, one of the Disney Princesses.
"That's cool Bell. Did you say thank you?" He asked as he sat up from his seat. She nodded and he smiled, proud of his child's manners. "Okay. Thank you, Doc."
"Anytime." She smiled before kneeling down to Arabella. "Get better sweetie. I'm sure a big girl like you can fight off the flu really quick." A smiled sped across her lips before they all left the room, splitting off in different ways, one to another patient and the pair back to the car.

Once Calum and Arabella got home, Calum put her right to bed and she went back to sleep since she was still sleepy. After putting her to bed, he plopped on the couch and watched The Big Bang Theory, his favorite show he likes to watch when Bella wasn't around.
With his feet resting on the coffee table, he stared at the tv watching Sheldon knocking on Penny's apartment door. Then his phone went off in his pocket for a notification. He pulled his phone out to see a number he didn't know.
unknown number: hey its fleur
Then Calum remembered that he had gave his number to her before she had left.
Calum: hi whats up
Fleur: nothing just really bored at work you?
Calum: arabella got the flu so I have to take care of her
Fleur: are kids a lot of work like everyone makes it seem?
Calum: um not really. I mean sometimes bella can be a little pain but most of the time shes good
Fleur: oh thats cool
Calum: yea
He wasn't sure what to say after that. Calum didn't want to leave it to an awkward situation with Fleur. He bit down on his lip and bounced his leg up and down in panic.
Fleur: would you like to hang out sometime?
Calum: sure.
He grinned at his phone and did a little dance in his seat while he waited for Fleur to reply. Calum was kinda happy but kinda worried about how this whole thing would play out. They could start dating but then they stop after something and Arabella could question him. But he could always worry about that when it happens. All he needs to think about is himself, Bella and if his relationship with Fleur will go anywhere.
Fleur: when are you free?
Calum: how about this weekend? bella goes with her mom this weekend im pretty sure
Fleur: sounds great. well i gtg my moms making me go help her with stuff
Fleur: see you on the weekend :)
