"happy birthday my big girl!" calum cheered as he ran into arabella's bedroom in the morning. he had made her waffles with strawberries and a bunch of whipped cream. she was still waking up. he sat on her bed and pushed her long curly hair of his baby's face.
bella rubbed her eyes and yawned and sat up a little in bed and smiled sleepily. calum got her and held her in his arms, wrapping her blankey around her small body like when she was one. he felt himself get emotional about the moment and kissed her head.
"i love you so much princess don't ever forever forget about that okay?" he said and looked at her and tears pooled his eyes with a smile on his face.
"why you cry dada?" she asked and tried to wipe them away.
"because you're my little girl." calum answered and kissed her face all over and she laughed. "lets go have some birthday waffles." he stood up with her still in his arms and they walked out her bedroom into the kitchen.
after breakfast, calum gave arabella shower and fleur was coming over soon to help out with all the stuff they had to bring over at ashton's house, since that was the place they were gonna be having her birthday party.

calum: okay baby one sec, arabella is in the bath.
calum quickly took the soap out of arabella's hair and told her she could play with the bubbles while he went to get the door. he ran into the living room and opened the door. fleur was in a navy blue denim dress showing off her curves. he bit his lip and she smiled up at him.
"babe," he murmured and he kissed her. "you look stunning."
"thanks." she laughed and kissed him back. "do you need help with anything right now?"
"maybe you can help with bella's hair? you know, make it girly." he shrugged and fleur smiled and nodded. calum got bella out of the bath, dried her and fleur did arabellas hair in two space buns.
"do you like your hair bell?" calum asked.
"yes! i love it! thank you fleur!" his little girl smiled and hugged fleur.
"no problem. how about we all head to your uncles house now?" she smiled and arabella nodded. they fit everything they needed in calums car and headed to ashtons house. when they got there, there was the people for the jumper there, caterer, everything going on. ashton's house and backyard was decorated to the star wars aesthetic like bella asked for.
"woah it looks so cool!" she smiled as she walked around the whole place. the backyard had the jumper, tables, a little dance floor and a game area. she looked at calum. "thank you daddy!"
"you're welcome baby. dont forget to tell your auntie emma and uncle ashton thank you too." he said and she nodded and continued to explore. calum and fleur helped set up. "i still cant get over how hot you look." calum said as they got the last bit which was the cake from the car.
