while calum was still getting ready, fleur hung up so she could get ready for later. most of the time it was arabella & fleur talking mostly.
the boy was dressed in a yellow button up that made him look like the glowing sun with his usual pair of black skinny jeans. today calum was feeling extra and decided to dress arabella in the same color so she wore a white & navy blue blouse with a yellow dress over, looking the cutest shes ever been.
"where are we going daddy?" she asked as calum combed her hair back, getting ready to tie her hair in a pony tail.
"we're gonna go see uncle ash & aunty emma!" calum smiled.
"ooh, i miss them. what about uncle luke & mike? and aunty amellia?" she asked looking up at calum.
"yeah baby. they'll all be there too." he tied her hair and she sat up on the bed, looking up at her father. he smiled, his hands going to her tiny waist to pick her up. "i love you bella."
"i love you too daddy." she smiled big at him.
"wanna play super smash brothers till we gotta go?" calum asked, holding her as he was already walking toward the living room, already knowing her answer.
"yes!"

he put his phone down, looking out the window of his hair, waiting for fleur to come out. a minute later, the tan girl did, she walked out in the same color yellow the two were wearing in a crop top and white high waisted shorts.
she got in and looked at calum and arabella, laughing.
"was this accidentally planned?" fleur continued to giggle before pressing a quick kiss to calums lips.
"i guess so. how did you know bella and i were twinning. you weren't invited." he joked.
"HI FLEUR!" bella yelled, waving at fleur.
"hey you." she smiled at the little girl. "and yes i was invited obviously."
calum just stuck his tongue out, not coming up with a quick comeback.
when the group got there, michael answered the door. "hey yall." he waved, his hair no longer red now but dirty blonde.
"hi." calum and fleur said in unison. bella ran straight past michael inside.
"alright then, doesnt even say hi back." michael shrugged before bro hugging calum & a quick hug to fleur. the couple walked in with michael behind them.
they seemed to be the last ones there, luke & amelia on the couch with emma, who was looking as if she was about to give birth any second now.
"hey guys." calum waved, walking over to hug emma first.
after all the greetings, ashton walked in, bringing in beers for the boys. arabella played with michael on his brand new nintendo switch while all the couples caught up with one another on stuff.
"so whens the due date?" fleur asked.
"anytime now." ashton sighed, sitting next to his wife, holding her hand and kissing it lightly. "right em?"
"basically, the due date is in two days, so fingers crossed because im sick of being pregnant." she laughed, her hands coming to rub her large belly.
"i'd imagine, but its all worth it in the end isnt it?" fleur smiled, taking a quick over at calum. he didnt notice tho because he was watching michael and bella.
"yeah, i cant wait to meet our little baby." emma sighed softly.
"me neither." ashton smiled.
"FU—DANGIT!" michael screamed, stopping himself before the curse word slipped because he knew he would hear an earful from calum & ashton.
"haha you lost." bella giggled, watching michael on the side.
calum, luke & ashton went to the backyard as ash was barbecuing dinner & the ladies all sat at the table outside, chatting. every one in a while, cal would look over to his girlfriend, giving her a smile or a wink, making her blush & emma and amelia to notice what was going on.
once dinner was ready, everyone sat at the table outside. right before they ate tho, luke coughed lightly, standing up from his seat.
"ooh a toast." michael said, grabbing his beer to hold up, the others following.
the blonde rolled his eyes at michael before speaking. "uh, well id like to toast to this lovely day of the group all being here & spending time together just like old times. because im sure we wont be able to do this as much as we want to because we all have busy lifes, but also," luke paused, biting his lip lightly, looking down at amelia then back up. "amelia & i are officially engaged." he said quickly before saying cheers and drinking his beer.
everyone gasped, screaming congrats and hugging the two of them. once everyone had calmed down over the news, they started to eat.
"so, are you guys just not gonna tell us what happened?" calum asked as he popped a piece of steak in his mouth.
"okay well, luke suggested we get take out for dinner the other day so the dinner was cute and stuff & luke was acting weird so i knew something was up but i didnt know what so i went with it. but when he gave me my fortune cookie, i cracked it open, inside the little paper said 'say yes to forever?' and then he proposed." the brown hair girl smiled big, every so often looking at luke, smiling bigger if that was possible.
"thats so luke." michael commented.
"true." ashton laughed but patted luke on the back who began to turn red.
while the other two boys continued to tease luke, calum looked over at fleur, who looked back her. her chocolate eyes sparkling with from the outdoor lights that hung above them. she looked so beautiful, like a angel from above.
