SeokJin's POV

When I arrived, alone, in Bang PDnims office, him and the Manager Hyung I was with yesterday was with him. They looked like they had something important to say. "Goodmorning Bang PDnim, Manager Hyung," I said, bowing as I entered the room. "Do you know why we called you here?" PDnim asked. "..No, why did you call me, sir?" They looked at each other and Manager Hyung immediately took out his phone to looked for something. When he found it, he handed me his phone with screenshots of a conversation in KakaoTalk*.

When I went through the conversation and finished reading it, my eyes widened in shock. I was speechless at first, then I turned my head to PDnim. "Sir, I... I dont know what this is. This isnt real, Im saying the truth, Sir!"
It was a conversation between me and Twice's Sana. In the conversation, It reads that we're in a relationship. And the time... The time in the conversation was the exact time I started waiting out our building. This is a fake conversation. I swear. Whoever made this... Is trying to make me scandals. In the screenshots, the things said under my name seemed like things an abusive partner would say. And the so-called Sana was pleaing for 'real' love. "Are you sure, SeokJin? Read it again. Maybe you were drunk, so you forgot that conversation happened." PDnim threateningly said. I shook my head, "No, Sir! I'm really, really, really sure. I never had a conversation like that with her!" "This was sent to us by someone from her company," PDnim added. "Where were you at this time, SeokJin? The members said you werent home yet. Jungkook said he heard the door open at much later, but the conversation only lasted a couple minutes. Where did you go? Did you meet up with her?" Manager Hyung said, suspectingly. "No, Hyung! I--" I stopped. What would be their reactions if they found out I was just pathetically sitting on the steps thinking about my imperfections with tears nearly falling?  Whatever, whatever their reactions may be, It would be better than going through these suspicions. "I was sitting in front of the building, waiting to see if the driver would come back to get me. Because Manager Hyung called me back in to talk to me about something, but while we were talking my members already went home. I came home much, much later than when I finished talking to Hyung because the driver really never came back, so I had to find my way." Its an embarrassing story, but it was true. Much truer compared to those fake messages. At first I thought I was finally free, but they both gave me looks that said they dont believe me. "Really, SeokJin? At that distance, it would take you that long to get home?" Manager Hyung asked. But it's true! Plus, I sat there for 2 hours or more, thats why I took way too long to believe. "You cant possibly not know the way from here to your dorm until now," Bang PDnim said, crossing his arms. Ok, maybe Im dumb, maybe thats why I still dont memorize the way, but seriously? To believe a conversation like that is true? "SeokJin, thats a walking distance. You do know that we only make you ride cars on your way here to keep you from fans, right?" Manager Hyung continued. I decided to just stay quiet. Now that Ive told them the true story but they still wont believe me, what can I do to convince them?

I know that what Im doing right now, too, is dumb. Because if I stay quiet, they would completely believe that those messages are true. But I dont care, I cant beg them. That way it would seem even more like theyre true. What am I even worried about hiding? Why am I worried if theyd believe me or not? Im telling the truth. There shouldnt be any problem.
