Chapter 4

I went to work and put my apron on and seen Dominic and Dalton. It's been like forever since I've been back. I walked over to them. I was able to get my job back through Dominic. 

"Hey, guys!" I waved and smiled widely. "Hey, Soldier." Dominic smiled and kissed my forehead. "Hey, Arty!" Dalton smiled He pulls me into a bear hug. "C-can't. Breathe. Going to. Pee!"

He quickly let's go and I stumble trying to regain my balance. "Ha... sorry." He rubs the back of his neck and pink painted his cheeks.

"Where have you been since I've been back? I asked Amber and she said that you guys were out of town." I asked them as they started to fidget. "Uh... We went on vacation to Ocean City for a bit with the family." Dom said smiling slightly.

I nodded my head, not believing. "Well, I'm going to work." Dominic nodded his head. "Yeah, I have to do the same. See you later little brother." Dominic ruffles Dalton's hair as Dalton growls and glares at Dom.

"Fucking touch my hair again I will end you. And I was only a minute or two-part from you." He fixes his hair and does that weird hair flip that guys do.

I shook my head chuckling as Dom shrugs. He leaves right after Dom, and I went to work.

The doorbell ring singling that someone's walking in, I was too busy staring out if space to even notice who it was. "Artemis, love?"

I snapped out of my trance. "Huh?" I looked up from the cash register and looked at who was calling my name. Then I froze.

"M-Michael?" I stuttered. "Wh-what are you doing here?" I asked.

He shrugs. "I'm just watching you." He replied.

"Well... You can't just stand there and watch me without getting something." He lets out a smile. "Will you be my waiter?" I shook my head chuckling.

"Sorry I can't. I have to stay here at the cash register." I said as he pouts. I look down at the lips that I kissed at night at the party. Itching to kiss him some more.

I let out a huff. "Fine." I walked around the counter and grabbed a menu and walked him to a table.

He sits down and I put the menu down in front of him and he lets out a 'thanks' and smiles. "I will be back to take your order. I have to take care of some tables." He nods and I went to clean tables.

Then I went to take Michael's order. "Do I have to act all formal for you?" I asked. He smirks and nods. I rolled my eyes. "Hi! my name is Artemis and I will be your waiter for tonight. What can I start you off?" I fake smiled.

"Can I have a Pepsi?" He asked. "Sorry sir, we can only serve Coke products." I glared at him because he knew we didn't have Pepsi. "Then coke will do fine." I wrote it down on my note pad. "Are you ready to order or are you still looking?" He nods.

"Uh, yes, I want Spaghetti with Meatballs plus the two garlic bread. Then I want two salads and a Three-Cheese Chicken Penne Alfredo Pasta and the Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip for my appetizer." I wrote everything down.

Damn this guy is hungry. "Will, that be all?" I asked. "And how in the hell are you going to eat all of this food?"

"Yes, that will be all. And you are going to eat it will me." I looked at him with wide eyes. "Michael, I can't. Got to work remember?"

"Oh, come on please? This place is as dead as a door nail." He pouts giving me those puppy dog eyes. I sighed after looking at the place that's usually bare. "Fine. I will be back with the order, and we can eat." He nods and I went up to one of the workers named Tiara. "Tell the boss that I'm going on my break."

"Sure can!" She smiles at me. "Thanks," I replied.

Then I walked into the kitchen and stop Dom. "Hey! Dom! Here you go." I smiled handing him the paper. He looks at it. "Wow! This person must be hungry." I chuckled.

"Alright, I will get on it." I nod and he went back to work. I walked back out and went to the cash register.

A few minutes later Dom comes out and hands me the food. "You got it." I nodded and mumbled a 'thanks'.

"Okay." He kisses my forehead and goes into the kitchen. I walked over where Michael was sitting and placed the food down him in front of him. Then he sits down.

"Who was the guy that kissed you?" Michael asked. "Why are you jealous?" I smirked. He rolls his eyes at me. "You know Reyes wouldn't like that. You know that, right?" I groaned.

"He's in jail. He's not here and won't be here for the rest of his miserable life." He gives me a warning look.

"I wouldn't say that. Reyes is many things, he always knows how to get himself out." My nose scrunched up not wanting to talk about his amazing ways of doing things his way.

I didn't say anything after that and dug in; when we were done, I grabbed our plates and took them into the kitchen.

Dom came up behind me as I was cleaning our plates off. "Who is that guy that you were eating with?"

"That's Michael." I dried the plates and puts them away.

"As in Michael Smith, as in Michael, that's in Reyes McCoyed's gang?" His eyes were wide.

I nodded. "Yes."

"You shouldn't be hanging out with him." His eyes narrowed down at me.

"Well, he wouldn't leave me alone unless I had lunch with him," I said as I rolled my eyes.

"I should just call the cops and have him arrested, just like his bitch-ass leader," Dom growls and stomps over to the phone.

"No!" I run and grab the phone out of his hand and held it closer to my chest. "No," I whispered as he furrowed his eyebrows. "He didn't do anything wrong."

His Adams apples bob up and down as his eyes soften. "Ok." He tries to take the phone out of my hands, but I refused to give it to him. "It's okay, Artemis." I sighed and handed him the phone.

I walked out of the kitchen and notice that Michael was not sitting at the table.

But something was laying on the table. I went over to pick it up. It was a 100-dollar tip and a note that says. 'Had to go to work. Reyes would be pissed if I didn't take over for him. Talk to you later, Teddy.'

With a sigh, I went back to work. The rest of the day was beyond boring.

After work, I stop by to pick Felicity up from daycare and drove home. When I got home, I unbuckled Felicity from her car seat and took her inside.

"Did the daycare people take good care of you today? Were you good for them and didn't get them any trouble?" I asked as she plays with my hair.

Every time, I look at her I see the face of the man that gave me hell, but I will always love her no matter what.

With a sigh, I sit her in her highchair. I walked over to the counter to grab the pre-pumped breast milk and her baby bottle. I warmed it up and feed it to her.

Here you guys go. I wanted to post this chapter on February 19th, but im bored and have nothing to do in my life right now.

Man, I just love, love Michael. More than I do with Reyes, shhh don't tell him he would get pissed.

But you want to know what I love more than anything or anyone... STRANGER THINGS.
