Chapter 19

"Oh, God." My eyes snapped opened and rushed out of bed. I ran into the bathroom and puked into the toilet. "What's wrong?" I hear Reyes behind me.

I went to say something, but it came out as a gag and puked some more into the toilet. I felt my hair being pulled back. "I got you." He muttered.

As I was done. I got up and brushed my teeth. I tried to hold down the bile because of the toothpaste. "Maybe you should go back to bed," Reyes suggested. I shook my head.

"I need to take care of Felicity." My voiced horsed. I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked really pale; my dark pink slips turn into a really light pink. My eyes are also pink, due to puking. Reyes gave me a stern look. "No, go and lay down. Get some rest. I will take care of her."
I sighed. "Do you even know how to take care of a child? The last time I recall I gave birth to her and took care of her for 2 years. I think I will be fine taking care of her." I snapped

His eyes darkened as he looks at me through his eyes. "Reyes, I'm fine. I must have had something bad in my stomach that caused me to throw up, but I feel better now." I walked over the sleeping baby and moved the little fringe she had out of her eyes. "Wakey, Wakey, sleeping head," I said in a whisper. She stirs awake, causing her blue eyes to appear open. She made noises and does the grabby hands as she looks up at me.

I giggled and picks her up and out of her bed. I turned to see if Reyes is still here, but he was nowhere to be seen. "Ok, let's go down the stairs. Mommy's hungry for food. I walk down the stairs and walked towards the kitchen only to see Michael, Zack, Bryan, Reyes, and Lily gathered around the table eating cereal. Lily was the first to see me. She jumps up from her chair and rushes over to me. "Omg, she's so cute with her fat chubby cheeks. Can I please hold her?" She gushed out, her eyes wide. I hesitated and looked a Zack.

I don't know if I should or not. I'm afraid she might drop her.

Zack shrugs as I glared at him and look back a Lily. She pouts at me and gives me puppy eyes. "Fine." I sighed out and handed her Felicity. I walked past Michael 'accidentally' shoulder bumping him and walked up to the fridge and pulled out an egg, along with pickles and ketchup. I have been craving for something different.

Then, I pull out a pan and set it down on the stove. Turn it on High. I grabbed an onion cutting it up and threw it in the pan. I, then, cracked the egg and put it in the pan with the chopped up the pickles.

I could feel their stares on the back of my head and suddenly, I started to get nervous. I turned around to look at them. "Do you have a problem or something?" I growled out. Bryan and Zack looked away, Reyes and Michael put up their hands in surrender. While Lily looked at me in wonder. Her eyes widened and stood up with Felicity in her arms and walked up to me. "Girl talk," She turns to the boys and points. "And no eavesdropping." She grabs my arm and drags me away into the living room. "Are you pregnant again?" She said in a whisper.

My eyes widened. "What? No! I'm on birth control." That's when I started to think back to when Michael and I made love that night. I gasped. Tears pricked my eyes. "Oh, no! What if it didn't work." I lowered my voice. "I haven't got my period yet. I was supposed to have mine last week!" I sit down on the couch and covered my face. "Hey, hey, look at me." I looked up at her, as the tears run down my face. "Who did you have sex with? Was it Michael?" I nodded my cheeks turned pink.

She gasps and covers her mouth. "Oh my gosh, this is really bad." I glared at her. "You don't think I know this!? If Reyes found out he could kill Michael!" I whispered yelled at her. "Do you love Michael?" She asked me. "Yes-no... I don't know anymore. Ever since Reyes came back. He's been distant with me-" I was interrupted when Michael walks in the living room. He looks at me and Lily, and me again. "Lily, Reyes wants Felicity." He stuttered and scratched the back of his neck and blushed. She nods and kisses me on the forehead. "We will talk more soon." She left and now it's just me and Michael.

"Hey." He said but ignored him.

"Hey." He spoke. I gave him no answer.

He walked up to me and crouched down and took my chin and looked him in the eyes. "Are you okay?" He wipes the tear that ran down my face. "Yeah, we were talking about things...Girl things." I let out a small chuckle.

He smiles, oblivious to the war inside my head. Should I tell him? Should I keep it to myself? What would Reyes do if he found out?

I didn't realize that Michael was trying to get my attention by snapping his fingers in my face. "Huh?" I snapped out of my trance. "I said that your food is ready." I nodded and got up with my head down and walk into the kitchen. "I finished it for you," Reyes said as he helps Felicity to walk. I nodded and went to the plate that has my food on it and sits down and starts eating.

I took two bites of my food and felt like I was going to throw up my food. I get up out of my chair and rush to the bathroom and puked my guts out for the second time today. I felt my hair being pulled back and someone's hand rubbing my back. "It's okay, shhhh. Just try to relax. I will go out and get you a few tests."

I nodded and groaned. Reyes and the boys rush in with a panic look. "I knew you were sick. You need some rest." Reyes picked me up and takes me to his room and lays me down in bed. "I need someone to go to the store and get her some medicine. I can't because someone with recognize me and report me." Bryan was about to speak up, but Lily beats him to it. "I will go. I need to get a few things anyway."

She left before anyone could say a word. "She left without me," Zack said. "Maybe she needed to get pads or tampons whatever you girls use for those evil periods," Bryan said chuckling. I glared at him, making all the boys chuckle. "Rest here until she gets back and doesn't worry, I will take care of Felicity. The guys and I have somethings to discuss with."

I nodded and he kisses my forehead. I can see in the corner of my eye. Michael's hands were clenching his fist. I turned away from them and covered myself with the blanket. They all walked out, leaving me in silence. A wave of tiredness runs through my body. I closed my eyes for a few minutes, that turned into an hour.

A hand shook me awake. "Hey, Artemis, wake up. I got the tests and vitamin B6 to help with the morning sickness." I grabbed the test and walked to the bathroom and peed on the stick. My heart pounding with anxiety. Just waiting for the results was just nerve-racking. I jumped when there was a knock on the door. "Yeah?" I asked, ready to hide the stick. "Are you okay in there?"

I nodded, but I realized that Lily couldn't see me. "Yeah, I'm fine," I said meekly, but in reality, I'm scared out of my mind. What would Reyes to me and Michael? What would he do to the baby?

"Do you want me to come in?" I nodded but realized that she couldn't see me.

"Yes." She opens the door. I headed her the stick. "I don't want to see it." She nods and takes it. I pulled up my pants and flushed the towel. I washed my hands.

Suddenly, she gasped. I snapped my turned to look at her. "I'm so sorry." She covered her mouth. She slowly turned the stick so I can see it. The two-line was sticking out bright as day.

You got to be kidding me.

What am I going to tell Michael? Would he tell Reyes? Would he help me?

A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts. "Yo, babe, let's go. Reyes is kicking us out so the guys and I are leaving." Zack's voice boomed.

"Do you want me to ask Reyes if I can stay with you?" Fresh tears rolled down my cheeks. I Shook my head no.

"I just want to be alone," I said. She looks at me through her eyelashes. Full of guilt. She leans in and hugs me. I hugged her back. "Thanks for helping me. It means a lot." She kisses my forehead. "No problem love. I'm going to take the test with me so Reyes can't find them." Then leaves me alone with the thoughts running in my head and the monster that wants me.

Oooooooor if Reyes finds out? Will he kill Michael? Will he keep the baby or get rid of it? I wonder how pissed off Reyes will be?
