Chapter 18

"Wake up." A hand shook me awake.

I groaned and turned onto my other side. "What time is it?"

"Its two in the morning."

"Wake up, Kitten."

"Why?" I groaned again.

"We are going to get that ring back."

I heard him sigh and at first, I thought he was going to leave me alone by leaving, but he came back. Suddenly, he lay something down beside me. That moves. I felt something grab my hair and pulled on it. "Ow, ow, ow, Felicity." I tried to get my hair out of her tight grip. I looked to see Reyes carefully takes my hair out of her grip and picks her up. "You need to be nice to your, mommy." He looks down at her with a smile on his face. "Did you feed her?" I asked. "Yes and changed her diaper."

I remove the cover and immediately, I was met with the freezing cold. I forgot I went to bed naked. "Can you hand me some clothes?" I looked into Reyes's dark blue eyes and notice them full of lust. "Reyes, my eyes are up here," I pointed my fingers at my eyes, catching his attention. "Can you please get me some clothes." He gulped and nodded. He walks to his dresser and pulls out sweatpants and a sweatshirt. "What? No, bra or underwear?"

"No need too." He said, handing me the clothes. I sigh and get up. I change and take Felicity out of Reyes's hands. I changed her into a pink soft-fluffy jacket that covered her whole body. "Ready." I nodded as Reyes grabs his keys. We were going to walk out, but Reyes stopped. I looked up at him confused. "I'm going to need you to put on this headband to cover your eyes until we get into town." I glared at him and snatched the headband out of his hands and covered my eyes. "I will take Felicity and guide you to the car."

He takes Felicity out of my arms and grabbed a hold of my hand and walks out.

I, then, remember something. "Reyes, Felicity doesn't have a car seat. "He squeezes my hand. "No, I didn't. I had one of the guys pick it up from your so-called friends." I rolled my eyes and just nodded. I heard the car door open. "Stay put and don't move. Got it." I nodded again. "Use your words, Kitten."

"Yes," I said. I can hear him shuffling and Felicity's giggle. Then the door shuts and he grab my hand and helps me in the car. He shuts the door, and he gets in, starting the car. The heat warms up the cold car, warming all of us up. "Are you hot?" I shook my head. "Use your words, Kitten." He threatened and I blushed. "No, I'm comfortable," I said in a small voice. He chuckles. "You still get nervous around me?" I jump when I feel his hand on my thigh. There's no use in moving his hand so I just left it there. When we got farther away from the house I was allowed to take the headband off.

If felt like hours being in the same car as him. He seems so calm and in thought as for me... Well, I'm a wreak. My hands shake, not from the cold but from the anxiety. I notice that his driveway was empty. When we had pulled in, we all got out and walked up to the door. Reyes turned the doorknob, but it was locked. "Thought so." He mumbled to himself. He pulled out a flat-head screwdriver and a bobby pin out of his pocket and worked on unlocking the door. I bounce Felicity in my arms and looked around to see if anyone is watching, but no one was out.

I heard a click and looked at Reyes. He looks back and smiles. "We are in, let's go." We walked into the house. "Do you remember where you put it?" I nodded. "It's in the basement with some of the old stuff."

"Show me where it is." I walked into the kitchen with Reyes following behind me. I walk up to a door leads where the basement is and opens it. I turned on the light and walks down the stairs. When we got down to the last step, I turned on the light that lightens the whole basement.

I was surprised that there were still boxes down here. Probably to drunk off his ass to even clean the basement. I put Felicity in an old bouncer and pulled out a bottle of milk to keep her busy. We searched and searched and almost gave up. "I bet he found it and sold it. I swear when I see him, I'm going to kill him" Reyes growled.

I ignored him and just kept searching. As I was searching, something catches my attention. "Reyes." No answer.

"Reyes." Again, no answer.

"Reyes!" I yelled.

"What!" He growled. I lifted the ring up. His mood changes to angry to annoyed, to be happy and smiling. "You found it!" He runs and picks me up spinning me around. He slowly puts me down and grabs my hand. He slides the ring on my finger and puts his forehead on mine. "It's still fitting." I nodded. He leans in and kisses my lips.

We immediately pulled away when we heard the door open. I look over to Reyes with wide eyes. He shushed me. "Stay low and try to keep Felicity from making any noise." He turned to walk up the stairs, but I grabbed his arm and stopped him. "Please, Reyes, don't hurt him." He glared at me. He walked slowly up the stairs, trying not to make a sound. I heard a muffled voice. "Who the hell are you? And what are you doing in my house?" I couldn't hear what Reyes said as I go and huddle against Felicity's little body. Then, I heard a bunch of crashing and banging around and a loud gunshot go off and a body dropping.

I jumped and Felicity starts crying. Well... more like screaming. I calmed her down the best I could. Footsteps come down the stairs. Fear runs through my body, as tears roll down my cheeks. Reyes appeared in front of me holding out a hand. "Don't look at my face. Just grab my hand." I grab his hand and pulls me off the floor. I take Felicity out of the bouncer. We all walk up the stairs. I stopped and gasped, covering my mouth.

"Shit." He covers my eyes. I let out a sob. "I know, baby, I know." He guides me out the front door and he uncovers my eyes and quickly put Felicity in the car. He opens the car door for me, and I climb in, he shuts the door and gets in on the other side. He starts the car up and drives out of the driveway. He puts his hand on my thigh and just lets me cry myself to sleep. 

Heres another chapter I hope you guys like it. To me it seemed a little boring, but i promise i will make it intersting for you guys. Yes, i know theres mistakes everywhere, but if you comment i could fix it.

What did you think about Reyes killing her ex husband? Is she falling loving in love with him or does she want to kill him? And how she handling it better then most people would.
