The Beast Has Been Released (Book 2)

Chapter 22

After, Lilly had knocked the hell out of Reyes. The boys and us girls have to drag his body inside and laid him in his bed. I grabbed the med kit out of the bathroom and helped aid Michaels cuts. He stares at me as I cleaned his face. "Do-" I gulped. "Do you love me?" I said feeling unsure if I wanted to talk about it with him, but I needed to. I had to. His eyes are all black and blue, but that sparkle had not died out. 

"Yes, every day. It makes me mad how he has you and can't treat you the way you should be... a queen. He fist clenched and unclenched. I stopped what I was doing and looked away. "I'm no queen. A queen wouldn't be broken." I whispered. I bit my lip and closed my eyes to control tears from running down my pale face. "A queen is strong and a leader. She will put her people and castle first before herself.

A queen will not back down for a fight. A queen doesn't need a king by her side at all times, but she loving underneath all that facade that she had put up to make her look strong. She's loving towards kids, animals, the bright and colorful nature that's planted all over the world. No matter what she always brings a smile on peoples faces even when she's in pain." My greenish blue eyes snap towards his brown eyes. He wipes the tears that were rolling down my face. "And you are a queen." He smiles softly. "My queen." I shook my head and pulled away. 

"Michael, I- I have to tell you something?" Before I had the chance to open my mouth the door opens. Lilly walks in, "Oh, did I interrupt something?" Michael sighs and pinched the bridge of his nose. I shook my head and walked out. "What is it, Lilly?" As she followed. "Felicity has been asking for you," I went over the playpen and picked up her little airplane waving it around her. " I also think you shouldn't tell Michael about the baby." I turned around to look at her. "Why not?" I came off a little rude.

 "Michael needs to know. You said it yourself 'You need to tell Michael about the baby before Reyes finds out.'" She bit her bottom lip. "I know what I said, but-" I cut her off. "But what Lilly! I need to say something sooner or later!" I raised my voice. "If you will just listen to what I have to say first... maybe you will understand!"

She growls as her eyes turned dark. It's almost the shade of dark that Reyes has, just a bit lighter. This was the first time I've seen her really mad. That caused me to flinch. She must of notice and lets out a shaky breath. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have gone off like that." I put a hand on her shoulder. "It's fine. I deserved it." She nods. "You saw what Reyes had done to Michael. If Reyes ever finds out he will do far worse than just a little black and blue spot."

As I was about to speak but Bryan comes into the room. "You're going to have to come to the gang house with us," Bryan spoke up. "Pack up all your stuff and Felicity's. We will be leaving tonight." I nodded. "What about-" I heard screaming. "LET ME OUT OF HERE!! I WILL KILL EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU BITCHES" I jumped at least five feet in the air. "What's going on?" I said standing up. "No, no, no! I wouldn't" Both Bryan and Lilly said, I ignored them and went into the room with all the screaming. 

I turn to see Michael and Zack looking down at him in disappointment. Then I turn to see Reyes tied to the bed covered in sweat. His body is red as if you were to touch him, he will burn you. He was panting hard and squeezing his eyes shut. "What the hell is going on with him!" I yelled over his screams. Michael and Zack finally turned to look at me as Bryan runs in the room. Michael walks up Bryan and pinned against the wall. "I thought I told you to keep her out and get her ready to leave?" He growls out. Bryan raises his hand in surrender. "I tried, but she wouldn't listen to me!" Michael groans. "Get her out of here before she gets hurt." He says as if I wasn't standing right there.

Suddenly, all the screaming had stopped along with everyone movements. It was like we were frozen in time. Slowly, we all turn around to look at Reyes. His eyes were shut and his breathing was back to normal. "Okay, that's different," Bryan said. "What's-What's different?" I asked switching back and forth between the boys. "Well, usually when he has these episodes it last about 3 hours till he falls asleep from exhaustion. He will have blackouts when he gets really mad and can get really dangerous and bad for everyone who stands in the way." Zack explains. 

"Sometimes we have to knock him out with certain drugs, but sometimes that doesn't work so we have to physically beat him to put him out. Just as Lilly did earlier." Michael finished. "Uh-um... uhm guys look." Bryan stuttered. "The fuck?" Zack's voice cracks. "That is just really creepy," Michael said. I slowly look at Reyes as he's already looking at me. "Kitten, look at what they are doing to me." Tears fall down his face. "They are trying to kill me so they can get to you." I didn't say anything, it was like I was in a trance. 

"They don't want to protect you, only I can. Just help untie me and I will take care of them for you, for us." I could feel myself walk towards him. Just about with I was going to touch him I was pulled away. "Woah, what are you doing?" Michael pulled me away from him. "I-I don't know?" I shook my head as tears ran down my face. I can't believe that I was going to set Reyes free and have him kill his friends. 

"Okay, this is bad. Really bad." Lilly said panicking. "DON'T LISTEN TO THEM KITTEN!!! THEY ARE NOT THE ONES TO BE TRUSTED!! IT'S ME YOU SHOULD TRUST I WOULD NEVER HURT YOU!!!" Reyes starts twisting and turning while screaming. "LET ME GO, YOU FUCKING BASTARDS!! SHE MINE AND ONLY MINE!!!" He screams some more. I couldn't take it anymore. I covered my ear and drop down to my knees letting out a loud wail. "Shit! She having another panic attack! Get her out of her now!" I could hear Michael faintly scream orders. I could feel myself being lifted up and before I passed out I hear a laugh. "You, my little kitten, are just like me. In MANY ways."

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllll that just happened....
