It's been a week and Barry still has trouble walking. Right now Joe and I are trying to help him walk without his cane. "All right, we got you." I reassure him. He steadies himself and we take the cane away as he tries to walk without it. He takes 3 steps before he almost falls. Me and Joe catch him. "Okay. I can't do it right now, all right?" Barry says not believing he can do it. "Oh, yes you can, Barr." I tell him softly. We help him into the wheel chair. "No, no, no." He replies as he gets comfortable. "We've been making so much progress." Joe sighs. "Yep, six whole steps. Someone get me a Bozo button." Barry says sarcastically. It was actually 3 steps but I better not say that. "Hey, give yourself some credit. You just broke your back." Cisco says taping him on the back with reassurance. "Yeah, a normal person would've been paralyzed the rest of his life." Iris states. "How long until I'm fully healed?" Barry asks. "The initial MRI I took a week ago showed a complete dislocation at the T12-L1 interspace of the thoracolumbar junction. But this is the MRI I took this morning. It's remarkable, but you're almost completely healed." Caitlin reports showing him the differences on the wall monitor. I look up and see Chase looking at me with sad eyes. He told me that the thing with that girl was set up and he told me he had never seen her in his life but that's not very believable, and even if it was I can't get back together with him after what happened with me and Logan.
"I'm still having trouble breathing." Barry tells Caitlin. "That's totally normal with a spinal injury. It should clear up soon." Caitlin reports. Barry wheels over to the case with his suit in and he's looking at it with sad eyes. "We're going to get you back in that suit, Barr. Real quick, trust me." I him saddened. It's all my fault that he's not able to be in that suit. "What are we gonna do about Zoom?" Barry questions. "No sign of him since Cisco nailed him with that tranq dart." Joe replies. "And I haven't vibed since then." Cisco adds. "Maybe Zoom's not coming back." Iris suggests. "I highly doubt that. Which is why I'm gonna go do something about it." Harry says entering the room and gaining our attention. I still can't trust him. Geez I really don't like the people from Earth 2 do I. That and Harry doesn't seem to like me either it's like he's met me before but I haven't met him. That makes me highly suspicious.
"What do you mean, go do something about it?" Caitlin questions "I need access to your breach room and your speed cannon." Harry tells Cisco putting on his backpack. "Why is that?" Barry asks. "Because, Barry, it's time to go home." Harry replies.
"So, you show up on our Earth, you screw everything up, and now you want to go home? Sounds very familiar." Joe says referring to the old Wells. "Again, that wasn't me. I need to go take care of Zoom once and for all before anyone else gets killed." Harry tells us. "How do you plan on doing that?" Barry questions. I have absolutely no objections to him leaving. Like when I found out Jay left that was amazing but it's really hard to enjoy things right now. I'm looking at the floor ignoring everyone's gaze. "I'll think of something. Ramon, if you'll escort me to the speed cannon." Harry states, "No, no, you can't go through the breach." Caitlin objects. "Yeah, he can. Jay taught us how to send people." Cisco replies. "That's not what I mean. Look, if you can figure out how to stop Zoom on your Earth, you can figure out how to do it here. We need you to stay here until we defeat Zoom, Dr. Wells." Caitlin tells him seriously. "What I need, Dr. Snow, is to return home. And I'm going to that with or without your assistance." Harry tells her leaving the room. Caitlin starts to go after him. "What are you doing? If Harry wants to go...bye." Cisco questions her okay with Harry going. "Look, like it or not, Cisco, we need his help." Caitlin states seriously. No we don't. Caitlin stop trusting all these people from earth 2 there shady. "I'm not sure another plan from Wells is what we need." Joe says. "Yeah, I mean, the last bright idea he had nearly got Barry killed." Iris points out. She's wrong it's my fault why can't they see that why aren't they screaming and yelling at me? "I know, but Jay's gone, and Dr. Wells knows Zoom better than anyone, so until Barry is back on his feet again, we need to keep Wells around in case Zoom returns." Caitlin tries to explain. "Caitlin, if he doesn't want to be here, then we're better off without him. Let him go." Barry tries to tell her. "I can't do that. Not yet." She says going into the MedBay. The alarm blares. "Oh, snap, meta-human attack." Chase says running to look at the monitors. "Nope, nope, my that is just an alert for me." Cisco tells him nervously. "For what?" Chase asks. "Oh, it's just a reminder. I have a date in an hour, so..." Cisco says quite proud of himself. "Oh, with who?" Iris asks intrigued. "With the lovely Kendra Saunders, the barista at Jitters. Oh, she makes a mean latte. I think we're gonna go out for dinner and a movie, and then, I don't know, maybe some breakfast." Cisco mutters the 'breakfast' part. Joe laughs. "Wait, breakfast? Why breakfast? I don't..." Barry asks pretending not to understand that he meant he might end up having sex with her. "Yeah... " Iris says leaning on the railing with a smug smirk. "Cause, you know, you go home..." Cisco starts awkwardly. "Cisco. He's messing with you." Joe finally points out to him. "Oh." Cisco says with an unamused face. Barry's phone vibrates and he sighs as he is about to answers it. "Patty." He tells us whose calling and he wheels into the treadmill room so we don't hear his conversation.
I still have my head down. "Beth can I talk to you?" Iris asks noticing my exasperation. I nod and follow her to the MedBay. We closes the door. "What's going on?" Caitlin asks Iris. "Well she haven't had a sister meeting in over 3 weeks and there's something wrong with Bethany so spill what's up with you?" Iris asks me crossing her arms. "You wouldn't understand." I mutter. "Bethany we're not here to understand we're hear to listen so tell us what's wrong." Caitlin asks getting to my eye level. I can't even look at her. "We can't talk here someone might hear." I say quietly enough so they can hear me. "Okay um well dad's going back to the house so we can't talk there." Iris says. "My apparently free let's go there." Caitlin says. I nod.
We got in Caitlin's car and she drove to her apartment. I stay quiet the entire ride.
We enter Caitlin's apartment and we sit on the sofa. Iris and Caitlin put their hands on my shoulders and ask "so what's going on?" I tell them everything that has happened since 'Flash and Streak day' I told them everything I told them how I felt how alone and angry I was and still am. I told them about me not trusting Jay Caitlin tried to argue on that one but Iris stopped her. After it all I started crying. Iris wrapped her arms around me as I let it all out. Caitlin has her hand on my back trying to comfort me. "Everything's a mess my whole life right now is a mess." I sob. "It's okay you're okay." Caitlin says softly. Her saying that dose nothing. Now I've started crying I don't know if I can stop.
I've been crying non stop in Iris's arms for 30 minutes. I finally stop as I feel my eyes become more heavy I shut my eyes for 2 seconds before I enter a peaceful slumber.
