Barry entered the warehouse where we are meant to be meeting Vandle Savage. "Thank you for coming. I know this is more than a little crazy." Oliver says to him sending a glare at Malcolm.
A few minuets later.
"I came to this meeting out of curiosity. It is now sated. Bring Khufu and Chay-Ara to Jurgens Industrial in 24 hours, or I will see you dead and buried under the bodies of your loved ones." Savage threatens. He throws the arrow on the floor and leaves. I notice that Barry looks confused and shocked. "Barry, you all right?" I ask in concern. he nods but I'm not convinced.
we got back to the house. "We need to brief the team. Come up with some type of counterattack." Oliver states and I nod in agreement." It's not going to work." Barry says suddenly like he knew that our plan wasn't going to work." What?" I question confused. He is acting really off. "Oof, nothing. All right, never mind, I shouldn't have said anything." Barry tries to brush off the subject. "Barry, what's going on?" Oliver asks calmly. Barry sighs "Bethany can you go inside please." "No i want to know whats wrong." I protest. "Bethany go inside!" Oliver practically yells. I sigh in frustration "fine." I go inside and change.
I'm going to find Oliver who is explaining things to the team when someone grabs my arm and now I'm in a closet. The light turns on. "chase why did you put me in here?" "so I can do this..." he says. He leans in and kisses me. The kiss lasts about 8 seconds before we pull apart. "Didn't you were the type of person to bring me into a cupboard so they can kiss me." I breathe out a small laugh. "Oh trust me there are many things you need to learn about me." He smiles cheekily. I think I'm okay with this.
"Oliver, you were right. I don't know how you knew, but you were right-- the gauntlets won't work, they're missing a critical element." Cisco says entering the room with Kendra. "How do you know?" Diggle asks. "Because I remembered. I remember how Savage killed us the first time, back in Egypt." Kendra explains. "I've never been able to remember our first death." Carter seams surprised and a little jealous. Well looks like somebody isn't all knowing. "Well, these sky rocks--meteors-- they fell and they completely destroyed the royal palace." Kendra elaborates. "During the Middle Kingdom, Egypt experienced a high level of meteorite activity." Felicity states. Everyone steers at her shocked that she'd know that. I wasn't shocked at all Felicity is the smartest person I know. Don't tell Caitlin or Cisco. "I know stuff." Felicity states. "Which is one of the many reasons we love you so much, but also doesn't seem to help us stop Savage." I smile. "It's the calamity Professor Boardman was referencing. The meteors, they had a glow about them. And Savage's staff had two gemstones with the exact same glow." Kendra reports. "Yeah, the gemstones might be made up of the same element as the meteorite." Chase suggests. "The Egyptians would use meteorite in their craftsmanship. And the minerals glow in proximity to each other." Felicity sits down at her laptop trying to find a location of a meteorite. "Like Sankara Stones." Cisco snaps his fingers and points. Indiana Jones reference really Cisco. "Oh, wait, the Indiana Jones reference is the only thing I understood." Thea says confused. "Two pieces of the same meteorite, like an nth metal... that is the key to counter-acting the staff." Cisco explains. "Believe it or not, this isn't actually the craziest thing I've heard today." Oliver says quietly. "There's a sample of the meteorite from the Middle Kingdom at the Keystone City Museum of Natural... History." Felicity says. I run to Keystone City and steel what we think is the correct meteorite and run back all in a few seconds.
"Hopefully I got the right one." I say holding it up. "I could synthesize the compatible isotope out of this and coat the gauntlets with it." Cisco says taking it out of my hands. "Ok. Do it. Savage doesn't know that Kendra has gained access to all of her abilities. It makes you our ace in the hole." Oliver states. "Where do you need us?" Diggle asks. "Suit up." He tells them. And we do.
