Gorilla warfare part 4

Warning at the end of this chapter there is a subject that can upset people so please only read if you know you can handle stuff like that. And please don't give me hate about the subject it's the first time I've written anything like it.

"Grodd!" Caitlin yells for him at the location he is hiding out at. "Caitlin." We hear Grodd say. Grodd jumps off of the bell tower and was about to grab Caitlin but I used my speed and ran her to the breach area where we were going to send Grodd. I ran back to Barry and Grodd. "Flash. Streak." Grodd growls. "You want Caitlin, Grodd, you're gonna have to catch us first." Barry smirks. We start running and Grodd goes after us.

We were almost to our destination. "Cisco, almost there. Are you ready?" I ask him through the comm. "I'm in position." He reports back.

We get there. "Okay, come on." Barry mumbles. "We don't have eyes on Grodd. Does anyone see him?" I ask we hear a roar and we look up Grodd was about to jump on us and squash us but we run out the way. "That is a big gorilla." Harry comments in amazement. "Not now Harry!" I snap. "Where is Caitlin?" Grodd asks. Barry starts looking around seaming jumpy and scared I think he's thinking about what happened with Zoom. I focus on Barry instead of Grodd. Which is a mistake because Grodd throws the both of us into a pillar. I groan in pain. Grodd roars. "Oh, my God." I hear Iris say from the other side of the comm in worry. "Get up, Kids." Dad says believing in us. "Bethany Nora Allen you need to show people your not weak or pathetic now get up!" A voice yells at me in my head but it isn't my inner voice. I get up fighting through the pain. Barry is barely conscious and Grood has his foot on him. "Where is Caitlin, Streak?" Grodd growls. "Right here." Caitlin speaks up. "No. No, no, no." Barry manages to say. You need to let him go, Grodd." Caitlin says trying to get him to move. "The Flash and The Streak are my enemies. Now you, too." Grodd roars angrily, "No. He was trying to save me from you. We didn't understand what you wanted, but now we do. I can give you what you want. I can give you a home. You just have to trust me." Caitlin says in a soft sweet tone. Grodd gets off of Barry. Barry gasps and coughs. "All right, here he comes." Harry says as Grodd moves closer. "Ready to flip the switch. Now, Barry!" Harry says. But Barry is to hurt to move. So I run and get Caitlin and Barry out of the way. Grodd roars as the breach opens pulling him in. Grodd is fighting to stay here. "Full power." Cisco instructs. "It is." Harry reports. Grodd roars almost escaping. "Barry, Bethany you can't let Grodd get free. Conquer your fears, kids. Believe in yourselves." Dad gives us hope over the comms. We run back a few miles so we can run up. We run towards Grodd and we use our super sonic punch pushing him into the breach. Barry and I run out of the way. "Come on, come on, come on." Harry, Cisco, Barry and I pray. Grodd goes through the breach. Grodd is gone for a long time. We all laugh at our success. Barry hugs me.

Maybe I'm not a bad hero after all. Nope I'm wrong.

"Welcome back, Flash." Cisco says to Barry. Chase looks at me and says with his amazing smile I love "welcome back Streak." "No Bethany you can't feel that way about him anymore Logan and you kissed did that mean anything to you?" The voice asks coming back. Okay this is freaky. I don't look at Chase. "Thanks, bro." Barry says taking his hand in friendship. I hug Cisco but I dodge Chase's attemt. I feel bad but I betrayed him. If I tell him what happened between me and Logan it'll hurt him. I always end up hurting someone.

We were back at S.T.A.R Labs looking at the Reverse Flash's suit. "I can't believe something good finally came from that suit." Caitlin states. "First and the last time." Barry says quickly back. "That thing still gives me the creeps. We should destroy it." Cisco says coming up with a great idea as usual. "Let's do that, but see if you can figure out how to get it back in this ring first. Might be nice to have something like that instead of carrying around a bag all the time." Barry asks. "I can help you with that." Everyone gave Harry confused looks except me who glares at him. I still don't like him. "What? I know a thing or two about micro-technology." He smirks. "Yeah, you know a thing or two about a lot of things." Cisco mutters. "Well, as long as what he knows keeps my son, daughter and these good people safe, the more you know, the better. Pleasure to meet you, Harrison. Again." Dad shakes his hand. "Dr. Allen." Harry smiles at him. Yeah he's not even going to try and keep me safe he hates me for some reason. But I don't care I'm not even protecting myself because honestly I'm past caring about me.
