Chase and I sit on the swings and I sigh. "Are you Okay?" He asks. "Yeah... It's just that Barry and everyone else are hell bent on keeping me in the house which seriously pisses me off." I rant a little. Why is everyone so infuriating. I almost died so what? It's not like I haven't almost died before. "If it makes you feel better I got an alert something is going down at Mercury Labs." He informed me showing me the alert on his phone. I smirk at him. Finally something fun to do. "See you later." I smile at him and quickly suit up and run to Mercury Labs.
I coincidentally got there at the same time Barry did. After he gave me the 'what are you doing here' glare. We both looked at the person responsible for all this. I had to blink twice. No. It can't be him! I'm not doing this again. "Flash, Streak." He states sounding somewhat surprised to see us. "Eobard Thawne." Barry says just as angry and confused as I am. "You know who I am?" The reverse flash sounds so surprised but he told us who he was. And didn't Eddie die? Shouldn't he be none existent? "You died!" I shout clenching my fists. I can't believe that this happening right now. "Good and guess what I know what time period you both are from so that means very soon you both will die." Eobard jumps in the air and punches Barry sending him to the ground. But because he used his speed the hit was way harder. I try to run at him and knock him out but he grabs Cristina and runs out. I run after him but after a few minutes of running around the city I lost them. I put my hands on my head. How could I let him get away and with Cristina! I'm such an idiot!
It was late and we were still discussing Eobard Thawne. Barry was leaning his elbows on the metal railing in front of the computers I could clearly tell he was upset. "You okay, Bar?" I ask my voice filled with concern. I put a hand on his shoulder. "I'm good, yeah. It's just a lot." He stutters a little snapping back to reality. I don't blame him I'm not happy either why does he have to show up again!
"Eddie Thawne died, so Eobard Thawne should have been erased out of existence, right?" Joe asks. "Yeah I thought that to. I don't understand how is this even possible he should be gone. Dead. None existent!" I say clenching my fists at the fact the He is still alive, he should be dead! Why can't he just stay dead? "Hey it's okay." Barry side hugs me reassuringly. I smile at him telling him I appreciate his efforts to comfort me.
"It's possible For him to be alive," Harry states. We all look at him with confusion. What is he on about? "Eobard was in the Speed Force, protecting him like a bomb shelter, keeping him alive and his time line intact. It's what's known as a "time line remnant"." Harry starts to explain. This should be interesting. "A what now?" Joe ask.
"Here, let me... show you. This? This... is now. Here, today" Harry draws a circle on the See through board. He then draws a line connected to it and another circle on the end of it attached to the line. "This is the time Thawne comes from." He continues. On the other side of the first Circle he draws a line coming off it and on the end of that line he draws another circle so there are 3 circles all together. "This is the moment you all erased him from existence, but since Thawne is from the future, this is where his time line begins." He draws a curved line from the far left circle to the far right circle.

"That's why he's still alive. This Thawne has not yet traveled back in time to kill Barry's and Bethany's mother. He's here now in this time period for the first time. "Time line remnant." Harry finishes explaining and puts the cap back on the pen. This all makes complete sense. Though I wish 'time line remnant wasn't a thing as I really want Thawne to be dead he caused us so much pain that I can't stand to even look at the guy. "Explains why nothing's changed." Cisco states. "Yeah, it also explains why he didn't know our names or that we have met before." Barry continues. I just sit there silently. I was really hoping Thawne would be out of our lives. "To him, you hadn't. Not until the future." Harry adds. "If Thawne dies before he can time travel again, will that save Their mother?" Joe asks trying to get his head around all of this. Poor Joe stuck with having to listen to all this science talk when he honestly has no idea what exactly we are on about but truly I don't blame him.
"No. That's not how it works. In our time line, their mother is already dead, and her death is a fixed point. Nothing can change that." Harry answers. I frown hating all of this and Barry looks really mad. "All right, well, I'm gonna end this, him, in this time once and for all." Barry sounds upset and really angry, but he's determined and so am I we are taking him down!
"You mean we." I point out to him. Barry gives me that says 'please don't' I hold my hands up in surrender. They can cry and complain all they want but I am helping take down the man who is so determined to destroy not only our lives but our family because he hates us. "Let's find Dr. McGee, then we'll figure out what to do about Thawne, okay? I got to go check on Iris." Joe sighs and leaves. "Ramon." Harry says wanting him to follow and he does.
"Caitlin, I know you're worried about Dr. McGee, but we're gonna get her back." I put a reassuring hand on her shoulder and I give her a reassuring smile. "It's not that. It's Jay." Caitlin replies. Okay well that ruined the moment. What about Jay this time I am really sick of his name being mentioned around me. "What about Jay?" Barry asks. "He's sick, and it's getting worse. When Zoom stole his speed, it affected him on a cellular level. We need to do something about it." Wait does this mean Jay is dying? YES! I um mean... oh no poor, poor Jay. Finally Zoom did something right. "All right, like what?" "I think we should replace his dying cells with healthy ones indistinguishable from his." Caitlin replies, "How do we do that?" Barry questions. Oh no Caitlin Don't you dare say what I think you are going to say. "We find his Earth-1 doppelganger." Oh come on why did she have to bloody say it!
