"Stop the bus!" someone shouted. The voice woke Keane from his nap, interrupting his nightmare recollection of the film the Geniel Empire forced them to watch when they took his reality. He sleepily watched Parker stand up and grab the back of a nearby seat to steady himself as the bus squealed to a stop.
"Oh, damn!" Shaking his head to fight off his drowsiness, Keane readied himself to leave as well. He had no intention of losing Parker once again.
